Amazing view from this house. The owners and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were homemade and delicious. The house is definitely build with a lot of desire as the interior was extraordinary. Totally recommend for each time of the year - perfect place for relax!

This was such a pleasant surprise! We come to Chepelare often, but it was our first time in this hotel! Communication with the hosts was really smooth, the hotel is small, but has it all - even a lift and a garage for the car! Our room had a lovely view, it was impeccably clean and really comfortable. The bed was big enough and the pillows were soft and low, whereas in many hotels they are hard and too high. It was so quiet, so we slept really well. Food was also really good - better than in many of the restaurants in the town! Well done! We would come back.

we couldn't use the sauna in the evening when we wanted because the staff was not answering, then it was too late for us and we did not feel like it in the morning as well

The apartment was quite big, the bathroom was beautiful and beds was really comfy. There is elevator in the building whisk is really nice.the view is fantastic, you can see the whole town. The breakfast was delicious too, we really enjoyed, definitely will be back. Recommend! .

They had a wood burning pool and our room smelt of bonfire smoke. Too far to walk to any other restaurants. Dinner was offered, but poor quality.

Beautiful property, very traditional but had modern facilities. Gorgeous view of the mountains. Beautiful garden & facilities. Pancakes were fantastic for breakfast.

Where to start… Let’s say, we both never left an accommodation earlier that booked and aren’t people who like to complain. But this time it exceeded our boundaries. First off, the accommodation is messy and it looks like the manager spends more time sleeping than really putting an effort to make the accommodation look tidied up. For instance the reception was for three days not tidied up, even when we complained about it. Second, the breakfast was the first morning terrible: there was muesli but no yoghurt and milk, there was dried bread but no toaster and butter, the ayran was overdue and there was nobody to help. Also the dirty dishes weren’t cleaned and laying everywhere (see photo), only when all the guests left. We went to complain at 10.00 but the manager was sleeping…. When we eventually complained the breakfast was better, but still the restaurant was with dirty dishes and there was nobody to help. Third, the photos on booking do not resonate with the reality, except for our room. Fourth, we left one night earlier than booked. The manager wanted to compensate by giving the money back for that night. But then he changed his mind and only gave us 20% (is it was due to booking, we should have gotten 80%). It’s not about the money for us, but the money sums up with all the other stuff. In our opinion the cleaning lady does her job well in the rooms, but the manager doesn’t know how to manage the cleaning, welcoming the guests and having an overview on the accommodation. And some smiles and empathy of the manager would be nice… It’s really a pity because the place has a lot of potential.

The room was nothing like the pictures. There was no mosquito net on the windows. And the place was looking like the hosts - a couple with a small kid was living in the hotel. The thing that was most annoying and actually never happened for us before was that the hosts were making noise in the halls and talking very loudly between each other in the hours for rest and also were trying to get in the room while calling for each other. We didn't understand why even after asking but the vibe was very weird. We will never go there again.

The breakfast was great as well as the bathroom.
