The water was too warm, not pleasant for swimming while it was also too deep for "exercise". The breakfast and dinner were somehow limited in variety, probably because of the low amount of visitors at the time.

Great views, quiet area. The rooms were comfortable and had a bath, although, you have to shower in the bath.

Half of the hotel is overlooking a busy main street and a railway road, so you have 50/50 chance to be on the noisy side. In my case our Appartment was on that side(before we got moved) so you can hear cars, trucks and the train. That was def a problem for me, so front desk helped us and moved us on the next day. The restaurant is understaffed - I didn’t see any managers on the floor and a few times for lunch I had to ask for service, dinner was pretty much the same. The service provided was for a 3 star hotel at best. There’s no espresso offered for breakfast, there’s instant coffee as a choice, which is under par for a 5 star hotel. While there was a good variety for dinner, the dishes itself were not all tasty or properly cooked, some plain some overcooked some very dry. There’s no control of the kids around the spa, part of our stay was during a busy holiday weekend, there were kids jumping, running and screaming around all adult pools, going in and out of the steam room and sauna - so they couldn’t get hot enough - not very relaxing.

The hotel is located at the end of Velingrad, so it’s very peaceful and close to nature. The grounds and landscaping is beautiful and the outside pool is state of the art- with different massage options. We had a room and an Appartment - the Appartment is very spacious and well equipped. The spa has everything you need from the mineral water hot tubs, sauna, steam room and 2 indoor pools - 1 for kids. I had to change my reservation dates and the reservation department was very helpful. I tried a few treatments for my back - they were good. Housekeeping was cleaning the rooms daily as expected. Breakfast buffet has everything you need, dinner buffet had good selection as well. Overall we had a good stay.

I book an apartment. The bedroom was just a bit tight, because we had an extra travel baby bed but the second room was huge which was perfect. The bathroom was spacious and clean with a bathtub and everything necessary. Wonderful view - we were on the side of the road but we had no issues with noise from the road. The location is really nice for a rest and enjoying the nature. It is close to a small park with a lake for a nice short walk, but it is far away from the center of the city and restaurants. The breakfast and dinner (included in room price) were great. The food was delicious and it had enough variety. We travelled with 3 yo and there were a lot of suitable options for her. We used only the inner pools and they were great. There is one smaller with natural mineral water directly from a spring. That one was a bit too warm to stay in for too long(we went in the beginning of the summer). The bigger pool was great for e good swim. The water there was perfect temperature. We also paid additionally for using the salt room (for my kid). It is great - 15 lv for 45 min program. We liked everything about this hotel.

Variety of foods, but low quality. Rooms are not clean enough for 5 star hotel. No towel or sheet change for 3 days. A lot of street sound coming thru the windows.

Apartment is big enough for comf stay with two children. Swimming pools indoor and outdoor are clean and warm even for kids. 32-36 degrees. Place is nice.

The service wasn't at the expected level. We wanted to have lunch in the restaurant, we waited for over 15 minutes, several waiters saw us, but nobody came. At the end we just left hungry. During the dinners was always a challenge to find a waiter to order drinks. The music in the evening during dinner is too loud. The music for the children during animation is also sometimes too loud.

The food was great - many different meals every day, well prepared, options for vegetarians as well. The pool and the spa facilities were clean. The rooms are spacious.There is animation for children with variety of activities.

The location of the room. The hotel was not busy, there were few guests, but still our room was on the last floor and almost the last in the long corridor, which is far from the elevator. And we are with 2 years old child I explained he is not making noise (there is no reason to put us insulated). Also the view was towards the road.

Lights missing in pool ceiling. Corridors were very dark, appreciate the energy saving sensors but was not very inviting. Pool bar was not open at the same times as the pool.

the bed was kinda bad, was a bit dirty also ( the mattresses ) the hotel was one good but they didn't pay attention to the maintenance. also the flooring was bleached here and there, i don't wan to know the radon why .

Almost everything.

I was a guest at the hotel 10 years ago and everything was perfect! A came back with my husband and the kid now and a lot has changed, unfortunately in a bad way. It is not clean enough, the food is not delicious as it used to be, the staff is not friendly, and it is totally not a good value for the money. Overall, our experience was not such a bad one, but definitely we would not come back and I don't recommend it.

To start with this hotel doesn’t correspond to a 5 star hotel , is more like 3 stars . Really disappointed and definitely not worth the money!!! I wouldn’t go back and definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone!!

Misleading clock in the pool.
