Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. There is a fridge in the lobby with drinks and somebody there all the time.

regular cheap hotel in bulgaria, no surprises here, its old, but clean, and water was warm, it was quite at night. No special hotel but ok for the price and for a night when you arrive from the airport at 2 o clock at night. Breakfast was cancelled (due to staff) and they had a cheap ham and cheese sandwich, which i refused. Nice personell, who helped me with finding a special shop in Sofia.

South AfricaThe room was clean, however I would suggest hoovering under the single beds as when I pushed them together there was lots of dirt left where the bed had been. And a small suggestion is perhaps to serve hard boiled eggs for breakfast as they are better served cold than fried eggs.
It was our second time staying and the staff were as ever, most welcoming and helpful. I would happily stay again on that basis alone. It is also in a great location near the airport, easy to find and has fantastic free parking.

UkraineOld style rooms, inside you can feel that somebody was smoking there. Ashes was present in faucet, not really pleasant to see. Doors of shower cabin were broken and out of order.
Good staff, english speaking, they can book taxi on request. Very kind and helpful guys on reception. Thank you very much.
