Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Very nice hotel, super clean and harming. the hotel is located in an old mansion, but completely renovated, keeping the traditional aspect of the building. well done! We stayed on the 3rd floor wtih a nice, very spacious, room/apartment! The host was very friendly and helpfull, and had a great breakfast served at the table. Next time we'll also boor a table for dinner as that seems very nice as well. Walking distance to the centre of Oostende, close to the Casino Cursaal.

BelgiumFor the price of the rooms, there are some details they should pay attention to: *one of the large French doors to the patio behind the room (over the garden restaurant area) had a gigantic bird poop that trailed down the glass for about half a meter.... so it was very noticeable, the first thing you saw when walking into the room, which was disappointing. They had just taken our bags up so they had to have seen it. *The patio was also full of bird poop and there was only a small bistro table and 2 little chairs out there. On the right was a dilapidated building. They need to clean the patio off so people can go out and use it, and also put a partition of some kind up between this patio and the old building so there is a bit of ambiance out there. The patio to the room to left of us was much smaller but well appointed with a small hedge running between the two patios and a nice bench. They should do something similar on this patio and then it would be nice to sit there and look out at the hotel's garden. *There are no blackout curtains and the curtain rail is set rather far away from the wall, so if you are a light sleeper the light may wake you up in the morning, especially from the large French doors facing the garden. The hotel should get a blackout shade positioned onto those windows in the doors that you can pull down at night. *We put our dirty towels in the bathtub so that they would bring new ones (as they were damp we didn't want to leave them on the floor) but when we came back to the room they were still in the tub. At checkout they said we had to put them on the floor to get new ones. In a high end hotel, would be best they just leave extra towels in case people need them.
The hotel is tastefully decorated and has a nice ambiance, with jazz music playing throughout the ground floor. The staff are friendly and helpful. When checking in they insisted on taking all of our bags to the room. They have an excellent restaurant so food is amazing. If you stay at the hotel you can have breakfast and the general public can have lunch and dinner there. Dining outside in their garden is very beautiful and pleasant. Breakfast is really special as they give you a wide variety of things to eat - breads, croissant, meat, cheese, jam and also yogurt in a special parfait glass, as well as eggs cooked to order if you wish; we had both of these extras and they were delicious. We really enjoyed a leisurely breakfast, the staff were very accommodating and don't chase you out at 10 on the dot, they let us take our time there in the garden and have an extra cappuccino / coffee until around 10:30 which we appreciated. We also had dinner one evening in the garden which was lovely - delicious, great service and atmosphere. Room was very spacious and bed comfortable. We had a big suite and the sitting area was also nicely laid out. There was a table in the room and is also a large patio at the back side of the room which overlooks the hotel garden. Large bathroom area, well laid out with counter space and drawer space, fluffy towels. Quiet street. We will visit again.

GermanyWhat a wonderful place 💞 we fell in love with this little, beautiful gem in the middle of Ostende, 5min by feet to the sea. It's probably the most beautiful hotel we have been to. The hotel room interior is lovely with high ceilings and a beautiful design, the bed is very comfortable and you can choose your pillows, nice garden view where they play relaxing music at daytime, great coffee. What makes this hotel exceptional is the service. Marie and her staff take great care of their guests. Due to my pregnancy diabetes they offered me a special breakfast which was so delicious! The weekend was perfect. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our family and friends.
