Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe Brussels OPO Hotel was AWESOME! Our hotel room was VERY large, clean, quiet and modern. The bathroom was fantastic and complete with a large walk-in shower and separate toilet room. The property location was PERFECT - right in the heart of the city close to ALL the major attractions. Our room had a beautiful view of the city. Finally, all the hotel staff (front desk and housekeeping) we met were friendly, welcoming, and clearly eager to ensure we were comfortable at the hotel and with our room. A special mention to Rebecca who was working the front desk when we arrived: she was SO friendly and helpful; she made the perfect impression on my wife and myself while she was checking us in. She was such a lovely and charming ambassador for the OPO Hotel and Brussels!

AustraliaWas surprised to learn the tap water in Brussels is not drinkable. We were provided three small bottles of water on arrival (there were three of us) and thereafter 1 Euro per bottle is charged - rather than providing 1 bottle per person per day. For a flash hotel I thought this was bit ordinary and just left a bad taste in the mouth. Surely one bottle per person per day is not a massive expense for them!
Fairle new hotel, centrally located close to all the main Brussels city attractions and restaurants and bars.

My wife and I stayed in Brussels for 4 days and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The rooms were quiet, spacious, and very comfortable, and the hotel’s location was excellent. Although there was no breakfast option, there are highly recommended places very close by, so this detail is almost irrelevant.

United KingdomThe rooms were quite basic for the price. I ordered a minibar in a box as an extra, when I opened it there were no glasses in the room. Called reception and they brought some to us. No soap in shower dispenser and no mirror in the bedroom, only in bathroom which gets steamed up when showering.
The hotel was clean, quite new and staff were friendly and attentive. The location is perfect, very close to Grand Place and all the chocolate shops. Beds very comfortable and room was good.

United StatesExcellent Hotel right in the middle of it all. The entire service team is very nice and welcoming. The room was beautiful, seemingly remodeled. Everything was pristine and high tech. The room was so comfortable we spent a lot of time in it relaxing. It's super close to Grand Place and a million places to eat and drink. It's about an 800m walk downhill from the train station.
