Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Romania-small rooms with no open windows -no slippers in the room -the bistro is not open daily and the room service option is not 24 hours, which is quite unusual for a 4* hofel
-good value for the money paid -good location, right next to the EU institutions and to the metro station (only 4 stations to grand place) -extremely nice staff -very clean

Breakfast was superb, I wish I had more time to try all the options available! I got upgraded into a bigger room with a huge comfy bed, an armchair and a desk! The location is perfect, just around the corner from the European quarter.

LatviaThe hair conditioner bottle was not properly filled, it was hard to squueeze out enough, had a hard time combing. Supposedly clean glass at breakfast still had somebody's lipstic marks on it.
Staff was welcoming, room pleasant, good breakfast. Location excellent for EU related business trips.

SwitzerlandWouldn't recommend this hotel for those travelling for fun and tourism as it is a 30-40 minute walk to the main attractions. However, for my needs, it worked fine.
The hotel was in a great location given I was travelling for business purposes. It is very close to the bus and trains that take you to and from the airport directly. The room was sized exactly for one person and was very cozy.

Netherlandsthere are constructions works in front of the hotel and if you need to work during the day, it is rather noisy. the music in the hotel corridors is too loud, and you hear it in the rooms, until very late. What is the purpose of that music, i don't understand. just switch it off, it will save you some electricity! the doors in the room, also from the closets crack and need some refreshment. THE ACCESS TO THE PARKING IS TERRIBLE AND I WONDER HOW DID IT GET A PERMISSION TO BE OFFICIAL PARKING SPACE! OUTRAGEOUS. I WISH I NEVER GOT THERE. I HEAVILY DAMAGED MY CAR ON BOTH SIDES!!! I KNOW I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
The breakfast is very nice and abundant, however the dining space is very noisy, especially if you sit in the area next to the kitchen doors. if you have business in the EU institutions area, it is very nicely located.

SwitzerlandThis sadly outdid the good points. The decor of the room was generally nice except the carpet which honestly looked like a bad job of cleaning up after someone had diarrhea. Curtains were filthy and looked lile they were not cleaned in a while. I ordered after seeing online a room with a balcony, umm balcony is a big word to use, literally only enough room to stand, would be great to mention maybe small balcony, so everyone understands what they are getting. Another downpoint at breakfast was the lady who greeted everyone looked more interested being on her phone than filling food when empty. All in all was okay but not worth the price paid.
The hotel in General was really nice, breakfast was very tasty and the reception staff friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and great to rest on after a long day walking around. And the hotel location was great only a few minutes to center with metro or if adventurous 20 minutes walking.
