Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe safe in our room didn’t work nor was it bolted to the building in any fashion. We weren’t able to get an extra blanket.
The location worked well for us - within walking distance to the city centre & many attractions/tours. Laundry facilities were right around the corner as well. We appreciated having real people at the front desk in this virtual world.

United Kingdomthe curtains next to the WC in the bathroom had splash marks from something and looked grotty.
We had a superior double room No. 2. Well situated only a 5 minute walk from the town centre this is a very contemporary style hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable bed, crisp white bed linen, plenty of open hanging space for clothes, large modern shower room and very clean throughout. The breakfast room also served as the bar and lounge area. It was tastefully decorated, furnished with comfortable seating and had a pleasant atmosphere. Whilst there is no parking at the hotel there is free parking, albeit with limited spaces, within 7-8 minutes walk away and also paid parking in an underground facility a 5 minute walk away at €20 per day. We were able to park outside for a short while to unload our luggage which was very convenient. Breakfast was typically Belgian / French style and I would class it as being good. Mike on reception was very helpful.

GeorgiaIt’s good to have hotel flipflops in the room or maybe an electric kettle, if you get a cold and need to drink hot water would be great. Also when having a double bed one duvet is uncomfortable. the bed duvet should be two from the beginning
The room that I took was on last floor and small, which I knew it was going to be. It had pretty lights and great bathroom. Bed was comfortable. They cleaned the room everyday. Very nice staff

NetherlandsThe room was in another building (which I was aware of) but had abrupt stairs without elevator. The room looked different than the photos. Very very basic (but with clean sheets). The toilet was a bit disappointing as there were some broken items (toilet seat and toilet paper holder) and the walls were paper thin (you could almost hear the other guests breathing). The carpet and the rig were super dirty and stained.
I liked the location and that it had a buffet breakfast.
