Mosquitos were an issue for us. Since we had to keep the windows open at night (no AC) we would have to deal with that but that is not the homes fault just nature of the city being on the water and summertime.

THE LOCATION of this property was amazing!! You cannot park near the property but parking lots 6-10 min away made it not a bad option to unload and walk. The property directions and keyless entry were so simple. This is right in the middle of city center. The steps are steep (times two stairwells) BUT really no problem if you are just mindful. We had small kids and up to 65 year old and made do. The patio and kitchen are fabulous but really you just need to book this place for the location and ease. It was a wonderful stay in a really great city. We were surrounded by great restaurants and shops and grocery right around the corner. The canal for a river cruise is maybe 5-6 min away. Loved the touch of the local Brugge beer left by host. We loved your city and property. Thanks so much!! Information on recycling bins. Info on the free bus to station. Info on how to worked( we eventually sorted out the plugs) . And there is something weird going on with hot water in kitchen. Sometimes would run cold for a considerable time then be ok. Light underneath sometimes red sometimes not. General lack of info re coffee machines Etc. nothing major at all and feel I might be being a bit picky. Sort water and info and straight tens all round

Layout was lovely. There are a lot of fairly narrow stairs that some older people might find a challenge . But we are both touchIng 80 with various leg ailments and coped! Easily found. Excellent access to old town. Lovely balcony with rooftop view. Enjoyed hearing young falcons screaming for food from their home in the tower. Easy to reach shops for food should you wish . Lots of fluffy towels available. How very quickly any query was responded to.

The tiny beds. No bath plug. No info inside on wifi or how to use heating etc. The stairs up are extremely small and steep but there is a door to close them off from the house to allow some piece of mind if you have small children.

Location was great, and was surprisingly easy to access by car to drop off bags before parking (so long as you drive in before 1pm - after 1pm you are not able to drive into the town). The early check in our host allowed us helped us achieve this. The apartment itself is warm, spacious and cosy. The host is available nearby. Both washing machine and a dryer was available to use. Water and a Belgian Beer was a nice touch.

The entrance and stairs are narrow and it's hard to carry the luggage up. The elderly might need to unpack on the first storey and only bring the necessities up to the rooms and toilets.

The apartment is very clean and spacious, there is 1 shower but 2 toilets. The room is very cosy, beds are narrow but very comfy. Kitchen is fully equipped but no toaster. Apartment is located at a quiet corner, but it is few mins away from the Markt Square and the chocolatiers. It takes around 16 mins to walk to the Brugge train station. There is a lovely attic on the 3rd storey together with the kitchen, and we were dining with a wonderful view. Overall, it was a really memorable stay. Communication with the host was fuss free and prompt, everything was well taken care of.

No air-conditioned or fan. So by the time we were there couldn’t sleep well. Mosquitos caused difficulty sleeping.

The construction site next door should have been mentioned at the booking stage The beds were small but slightly bigger than the bases, it made the mattresses unstable, not conducive to a good night’s sleep Mosquitoes became a nuisance & we only found the plug in device too late. A warning would have been helpful

The correspondence from the owner regarding the code to get into the apartment definitely could be communicated much better. We arrived in the evening which had been agreed, we emailed on route to Bruges as requested but no-one was there to meet us. After several frustrating phone calls/emails both attempted to the owner and booking.com the owner eventually rang me to give me the code to enter. It would have been much better to get the code a couple of days before when the balance was paid in full and could no longer be cancelled. We were tired and cold after our journey and this could all have been avoided. That said once we got in the apartment was really great.

The location was absolutely perfect. Right in the centre of Bruges but still so quiet just off one of the squares. The apartment also had a balcony with table and chairs and great views which was a great place to relax after a day’s sightseeing. The Tapas restaurant next door was very good. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Bruges.
