Physical location of hotel is in a very seedy street, sometimes quite noisy and frequented by unpleasant characters. But hotel itself is well maintained. Was disappointed at lack of bar.

Excellent breakfast for size of hotel. Reception manned 24/7, staff very helpful. Good for access to old town, once you get past the initial low-end surroundings. Secret garden and small pool are bonuses.

Quirky hotel with unique decor. Room was small but comfortable with everything I needed for a night. There was no soundproofing to the neighbouring rooms but my neighbours were quiet and I had earplugs for emergencies. Breakfast buffet is great and varied with fresh food.

Despite the option chosen to pay upon the arrival, the money was taken before than, in two installments. Taking into account the many cyber-attacks I almost blocked my credit card, because of not being sure on what is going on. It would be much better to state concrete dates on when the money will be taken from the card. The room was quite dark, there were no classical windows, but very thick coloured glasses.

Clean, big room, kind staff, good breakfast. Good swimming pool area.

Buffet breakfast is served at the hotel (16€) worth it. Quirky hotel rooms and plenty of space too. Shower great power. Staff at reception very courteous and friendly. 16 min walk to brussels central station for train to airport. Plenty of areas around hotel to chat and relax with small outdoor garden sunbeds n small pool

Except for one lady at the reception, the staff was rather unmotivated, not friendly, at least that was my experience. One guy was straight out snappy. I was charged for breakfast though I did not have one, was promptly refunded though. I wish I had been given the choice of a room with a window and a view rather than a room looking out into a wall (Blanche).

The bathtub is a treat, so is the swimming pool int the yard.

The exact street where the hotel wasn't great. The room itself wasn't like what I saw on Booking, but maybe that was my mistake. The room wasn't small, but felt small, but the toilet was weirdly small, to a point where it was uncomfortable to seat. The bed was a bit too low for my taste, but not a huge problem.

The staff was always very nice and kind with us and the breakfast was also quite good, very good value for money. There's a good connection to the subway system. The bathtub was nice.

The hotel met my expectations and was in a good location, which was a short walk from the centre of Brussels. I didn't use public transport but it did seem as though there were good connections around the area and a train station a few minutes away. I pretty much just used my room on this trip (not the pool sadly) but the facilities were good and the staff amazingly helpful.

No bar in the evening, very dark room but OK for one night, bath tub and shower weirdly in corner of the bed room surrounded by mirrors. No shower curtain or screen.

The tub was very small wrt to the height and the room was small with a dark ambience. We could hear if someone walks or talks next door as the whole structure is old.

The rooms are a very strong theme. This is fine and they are comfortable but I don’t think this was obvious on the booking website. The look of the room is not going to be everyone’s taste.

The staff were very friendly and the garden and breakfast were lovely.

Old hotel in a small side street in a richer part of the Brussels. Definitely a place with a character that has been around for a long time, where they treat guests with dignity, unlike "sterile" chain hotels. Nicely decorated. Each room has a name. Cozy, comfortable, high ceilings, perfectly clean, well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff.

The near location next to the metro and right next to shops is perfect, only 20mn from the square, but the small side street location of the hotel itself doesn't feel super safe at night for a woman on her own, especially if coming back from a meeting with a suit... Since it's quite a small street of a main shopping avenue, it's easy to just wait and check that noone dodgy is around when going, but I would not like to do this after midnight.

The hotel's best features aside location are the large relaxing lobby, great for meetings, and very friendly/professional staff. The room was small but comfortable, very quiet. the pool looked nice and seemed warm, didn't get a chance to try it. I loved the super hot old style shower and querky deco.

The pool was quite small - it’s more for lounging than swimming

The theme of the rooms were really cool - I felt like I was transported back in time! The location was good and near many restaurants and a supermarket. The room service is great - they changed the towels and remade the bed everyday. Great for a solo traveller!
