Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomNo real dislikes. Hotel slightly out of the centre of town but only rakes 10mins to walk in. Minor improvements, could do with bigger towels and some hooks in room and bathroom to hang clothed and towels.
Good size rooms, very clean and comfortable. All the amenities. Bar open 24hrs including tea & coffee which was great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Since the hotel is on a main road our request for a room at the back was taken care of. Could walk from railway station within a half hour.

Staff were extremely helpful. I loved the fact that they gave us a map and list of recommended restaurants as we checked in. Rooms were very nice, pool was clean and towels for the pool were provided. The breakfast was also very good. Location was ideal - just a ten minute walk into the main part of Bruges.

NetherlandsThe access to the outdoor area from my room was a big step up and down to get outside, and a bit dangerous. The pillows on the bed were more like tiny throw pillows rather than bed pillows for some reason. The room was only partially cleaned, as in the glasses were replaced with clean ones, and a few more towels were added, but it wasn't vacuumed or tidied up otherwise. Maybe this is typical.
I was surprised that my room was much bigger than my sister and brother-in-law's room, and that I had access to an outdoor terrace from my room. The bed was huge and comfortable. Although I didn't use it, my family members liked the pool/spa area also.

NetherlandsI purposely chose Normandy hotel to be able to park my car at the same location we stay and I made it clear while booking but unfortunately, my request was overlooked by the staff. As our date of visit drew nearer, I contacted them again to get confirmation and I got the response that the parking was full and I should use the underground city parking instead. This created discomfort for us considering the luggages we had to carry back and forth. I hope they improve they attention to the guests requests upon booking in future. Other that that, we had a great time staying at Harmony hotel. The location is superb, rooms are comfortable and breakfast is very nice.

Also breakfast was super expensive and alhough we would have loved to have breakfast at the hotel we couldn't justify spending over €60 for a family breakfast. We went to the market instead and got wonderful breakfast there.
Lovely location a few minutes walk from the town center. Staff very attentive and helpful straight from arrival. Swimming pool area very relaxing, our kids spent hours in there having a good time. Very comfortable beds.

MaltaThis by far is the prettiest hotel I've ever been to. The room is spacious, lovely garden, great shower and all amenities. The breakfast is amazing. There is a 24hr bar and reception. Will Def visit again! Location is perfect only 10 min walk outside the busy center. Perfect to relax after a day in the centre.
