Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesLocation means it's hard to shut out street noise. Room is warm with no apparent way to change temperature. Shower is an absolute hazard, with no reachable grip rail and a wobbly tub floor. It was a struggle to avoid falling.
Staff were absolutely great. Location is very easy access from Brussels Midi. Great bed and pillows.

United KingdomIt is a shame the restaurant was not open on Saturday evening. Minor inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay.
Spacious room, staff were lovely and helpful. Loved the heater light in the bathroom. It was very handy we could leave our luggage at reception pre check-in and post check-out. Location is also convenient Midi station in arm’s reach, with metro, trams, buses. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The room was quiet. I had dinner at the hotel and the dinner was very good. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is right across the street from the station where I got the train to London.

United KingdomLocation, run down part of city next to train station. Staff told us to not speak to anyone if they approached us. Didnt feel safe. Rooms need another mirror, only 1 in hall and a minibar or fridge with real milk for coffee. Price for breakfast well inflated!
Very clean, staff friendly. Room cleaned every day, bed comfy. Shower bathroom fine.

AustraliaSadly not the accommodation fault but the area around the Midi Train station day and night is very risky. Never venture out at night without your own security. Sadly Brussell's is becoming high risk in many area's!!!!!!!
Very nice Hotel for the area. Staff were all amazing and very easy short walk from Midi Train station. Staff gave extremely caring instruction for movement around the area. Good walking distance to the Flea Markets in Brussell's. Crazy extremely large produce market out front on the Sunday morning, big eye opener how big this was.
