Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandOn the first day the water in the shower was warm-ish but not really hot. It’s strange because water in the kitchen sink was very hot. On the second day it was better so we are unsure what happened.
Clear instructions on how to enter provided a day prior to our arrival. The apartment was big and clean; my baby had plenty of space to crawl around. Big shower and fully equipped kitchen with appliances like a kettle and microwave. Parking provided near the property. Private “patio” with a table and benches so you can have breakfast there. We didn’t go the lake/ beach & facilities but apparently access is included when you stay at the property.

RomaniaThey gave us another apartment, that was at 1st foor, instead of the one at GF as in the pictures of our Booking.com reservation even though we selected this apt and paid a higher price on Booking.com because we wanted a GF apt, however they said that they give random apartments not the ones is the pictures on Booking and that if we want a specific apt we should pay an extra charge for this. The beds are not done, they charge you extra if you want sheets to be put on your bed. In the kitchen there is no coffee but you do have a coffee maker - however no restaurants or shops in the building. Towels are not included, they carge extra for these if you want towels. No soap or toiletries in the bathroom, but they do leave toiletpaper at least.
The apartment was ok, the bedrooms were like in the pictures.

Very convenient location, off the highway. Communication with staff was amazing: super friendly and nice people, so grateful for their support. The space is very practical and in warm/hot weather I am sure it would be so beautiful. WiFi working well.

RussiaWith the extra charges for bed linen, towels and pet fee we got to amount of hotel stay. Super inconvenient to make the beds (especially on top level of kids bed) and then to collect the linen before checkout. No toilet amenities at all. No any option for breakfast. For the final prices with all those extras we should have chosen a hotel.
Quite fresh and clean apartments. Keynolus for us that it is dog friendly.

PolandThere was not enough toilet paper for the whole stay. Cups were too small to enjoy the tea - bigger mugs would make the difference.
Easy check-in, apartment clean with very comfy beds. Very good location, close to Bruges and Gent (2 cities we visited). We liked that there was a sitting area outside, however some sort of fence would make a big difference - we were with 2 gods and had to keep them on the line.

The bedsheets are to be put on and off by the guests themselves - could have been included considering the price. Towels can be borrowed for additional payment. The enter code for the litter container didn’t work.

DenmarkOutside the garden door is a small area with a table and benches - but there is absolutely no privacy as the neighbors on both sides are only a couple of meters away with no barrier in between. That also means people (especially kids) are walking right in front of the glass wall, so inside privacy also isn't as good as it could be.
The apartment is quite small but decorated nicely and very functionally. Kitchen is well equipped with all you need for basic cooking and has glassware for both beer and wine. Free access to Klein Strand next door with a fun slide into a fresh water lake.
