it was all good.

very central location next to a canal and close to all the main attractions. staying centrally meant that we could enjoy the town once the tourist hordes had left. the staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was substantial. receptionist recommended a restaurant and made the reservation for us.

We loved the location - the main square is right on your doorstep. The hotel itself was gorgeous - a converted convent - really beautiful and the staff were just lovely. They made our stay very special. Very spacious rooms and very quiet too.

Even before we arrived this hotel and its staff exceeded my expectations by organising a restaurant and a taxi for us. The receptionist who greeted us on arrival was charming as were all the staff we encountered. A very special hotel in a great location, excellent value for money.

Beautifully decorated and the rooms were a generous size. For drinks there was a lovely lounge as well as an outdoor veranda overlooking the canal. Breakfast was lovely too.

Automatic light in bathroom (which has a glass door) is super annoying at night and alternative options for hard pillows would be a good idea.

The hotel was beautifully furnished both stylish and comfortable. The room was quiet, large and exceptionally clean and sweet smelling. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was extensive, buffet style with both hot and cold delicacies . The staff couldn’t do enough to help and advise us re excursions and restaurants. The hotel manager even took us on a walking tour, which was so informative

The hotel is in a great location. Very central but very quiet. There is a lovely sitting area for a drink after being out all day. The highlight of our stay was the staff. They were all very friendly, gave great recommendations for dinner, coffee etc and they also ran a free tour of Brugge which was excellent. Our room was well appointed and tastefully done.

The location was perfect and the room comfortable (except it was very hot so we had to sleep with the doors open to the outside). The staff were delightful - would definitely stay there again

The location is fantastic. Just steps away from numerous chocolate shops, regular shops, restaurants and pubs. Also it is only a couple of blocks from the city square and farmers market. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant and a canal side bar. The complimentary drinks was well received. A half a block away from the hotel you can catch the canal tour boat or go the other direction to a brewery on the canal. BTW, the hotel staff are five stars.
