The room was okay, but a bit noisy during the morning as the hotel is under refurbishment and we could hear the noises from the construction as well as the A/C in the room which was a bit noisy during the night. However, the room itself was nice.

I have asked for a birthday card or something special to surprise my boyfriend on his birthday, and they set a card with a personalized message upon arrival. My boyfriend was very grateful. The receptionists upon arrival and departure, were both super nice. We had a lovely stay.

The location is perfect, it is a few minutes walk from Gent-Sint-Pieters station. The old town is around 25 min walk so it is also within walking distance. The hotel is under renovation at the moment but the renovations made no interference with our stay. The staff is very kind and helpful. Our room was clean and comfy.

The location is excellent, very close to the train station. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was under renovation when I was there, so there was no breakfast, but they offered a breakfast package (5 euros per person) delivered to my door at selected time. It was really thoughtful.

I was a bit unfortunate to stay during some renovations on the first floor, so during weekdays they started working at 8 a.m. The hotel did everything in its power to regulate and ease the situation, to be honest. And workers finished early in the evening, so the nights were quiet. Also the running water sometimes was heard from the other (bath)room(s), but it was not much of a hindrance.

It`s a comfortable hotel with convenient distance from Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station and really friendly and nice stuff. My room had everything for the comfortable stay (good bathroom, towels, a place for bags, wardrobe, table, nice bed, temperature control) and more - kettle with tea and coffee selection, lotion and conditioner. The owner and people at the reception were kind and friendly, made me feel welcome.

Nothing. The regular tram service to town (it’s a 30min walk to the old town) wasn’t operating and the replacement,ent bus was good but we couldn’t work out how to get any public transport back to the hotel so it was a long walk at the end of a busy day!

Lovely spacious room with comfy beds. Was 7mins to the train station so great location. It is currently being renovated but that didn’t worry us as we were out in the day.

The room is not soundproof, very noisy, and conversations in the hallway can be heard very clearly.The main entrance was under repair, which was very inconvenient. We almost missed our train because we couldn't find the door to get back into the hotel. Also, no one answered when we called.

The room and the bathroom were clean and well equiped. Everything was like in photos and as I expected. The breakfast was really nice. I enjoyed it very much . A good choice I can say in chosing the hotel. Even if it is like 2,5 km away from the city center we had a tram station in front of our hotel from where we could take the tram. The staff was pretty nice and gave us a warm welcome. With all this, I can say that I recomand this hotel. Thank you, Hotel Chamade!

The buffet breakfast was a little expensive given what was on offer, and one of the lights in one room was broken. However, these are really minor, the place was great.

Hotel Chamade was very clean, comfortable and pleasant. Everything worked really well, the rooms were just right for the budget and we all slept well. The location was perfect for us, right near the railway station and with a tram directly into the historic centre. We had a great stay and will definitely book again if in the area.
