There was a washer but no wash rails. The toilet fan and light came on automatically which often woke our child. I don’t think it was sound proofed because downstairs kept banging (we had a couple of early mornings)

The instructions to get into the room were sent via email but the message was cut short and I had to stay at the foyer for more than an hour. I missed my only two hours of free time in the city trying to understand how to open the door and I truly believe the owners can do a better job helping guests to their rooms.

It was comfortable, spacious and very quiet. And unexpectedly, I didn't mind the fact that it was a basement apartment. The only thing really missing was a mini fridge (strangely, there was none).

It was in a basement -1 floor down, which was not clear in the posting. Staff slow to respond via message. Over-priced for what it is and where it is. No utensils or equipment beyond 2 tiny spoons, no glasses.

Very clean, spacious room and bathroom set up. New finishes and fixtures and well maintained. Easy entry/exit with key box. Large bed. Clay earthenware coffee mugs (and Nespresso machine) were nice added touch.

First and foremost, I received a request for additional payment as soon as my booking was confirmed that looked like a scam asking me to pay more money as deposit. Of course I refused as it wasn't mentioned as a condition in the apartment description and the owner later apologized but I couldn't understand if it was a mistake or intentional scam in case I was not that well informed. Very shady incident.... Big windows for light BUT the roman blinds in the bathroom were transparent so at night you felt exposed to the neighborhood's sight from opposite buildings. It wouldn't hurt adding an additional trash bin for small stuff since the only one in the room was at the bathroom. The curtains couldn't be opened easily.

Modern, minimalist decoration - Comfortable beds. Really appreciated the nespresso machine for the first morning coffee and the boiling kettle. Extra towels provided. Good and easily understandable instructions about how to access the apartment. Very central location.

The shower doesn't have privacy (a sliding door or a curtain would easily solve this) and the toilet handle is broken. Also it would be good to have a toilet paper holder cause they get wet when washing your hands in the sink.

3 out of the 5 lamps were continuosly blinking (entrance, bathroom, toilet), so it was good, that we were not sensitive to that. To our surprise, the room is in the basement, well below the street level. Altough there were two big windows, it was dark too (maybe it was mentioned in the AD, and it is my mistake, that I overlooked that). Horrible smell came out of the sewers, there were multiple mold stains on the walls, and the air was damp. During a Public Health Authority check, it would be closed for good. Definetly, the place is not suitable for human staying!

The only good things I can tell about the place, that it was clean, newly renovated and Wifi worked.

The basement flat smells very much of sewage. Airing the place does not help. The phone number given for emergencies does not answer SMS or phone calls. The flat had not been cleaned properly: there were clear signs of the previous occupant.

The room had a horrible smell. The noise coming both from the people walking in the room above and the street was very high. The stairs to reach the underground level, where my room was located, were very narrow and steep. No emergency exit.

The toilet wouldn't flush properly when we arrived. This was not resolved properly. The room was stuffy and the walls were thin so there was a lot of street noise.

Regrettably, the room did not include the amenities that were advertised. It appears that this room might have been recently added to the listings, but was not ready. I suggest verifying its preparedness before making a reservation. It's worth noting that the property is addressing the situation by providing a partial refund of the rate. I suggest that the property consider being available on WhatsApp, which would facilitate smoother communication for international travellers. It took us a couple of hours to establish contact since there was no key in the lockbox. Any response to email was generally around 1.30am.

I was pleased to find that the room was both clean and pleasant.

The only major negative thing was the double bed. It was so deformed in the middle (central middle part was ca 5-7cm lower than the edges) that is was difficult to sleep on it. One should change the mattress.

It was as shown on the pictures, clean and cozy. Very good location.

The bathroom with the shower DOESN'T have a door, it is directly communicated to the bedroom, so if you travel with friends, as in as our case, you need to leave the whole apartment. The whole apartment consists of the main bedroom with the big bed and a little door connecting to the bunk beds where there is also the toilet; this makes that if you want to go to the toilette at night, you need to cross the 'mini bedroom' with the bunk beds. The bathroom area with the sinks and the shower is connected to the main area with a hole in the wall, no doors, no curtains, nothing.

A refurbished place with a big bed, bunk beds and a modern bathroom. I think the offer of this place is more directed to families or people that are very close, as it is a very small space.

For a single traveler, a couple or a young family perfectly fine - but as the place caters for 4 people (regular double bed plus a two-storey bunk bed) it might be an issue that the bathroom has no door and is facing the double bed (no privacy at all). What also might be annoying for a group of 4 people is that you have to pass the bedroom with the bunk beds in order to access the toilet.

Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean apartment close to Châtelain area (one of the best in Brussels - but very close to public transport as well). Very easy going remote check-in available, you just got sent a door code. A Nespresso machine, a small fridge and a kettle are also available. As a frequent traveler to Brussels: Amazing value for money!!!
