Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Well situated in a beautiful park close to the train station. The breakfast was sensationally good m, lunch/dinner excellent, and the dining areas — including a cosy outdoor lounge — were gorgeous. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms comfortable and quiet.

Modern and stylish retreat in a charming village. Gated and private parking. Check in was easy and fast. Welcomed w a free champagne voucher to use at the bar later. No elevator but staff carried our bag up the two flights of stairs. Room is decorated nicely and was spotless. Coffee and tea in the room, views of the Brugge tower, and good sized wardrobe for storage. Very walkable to restaurants and bars in the Center of Brugge. We didn’t eat there but the food looked and smelled delicious. If there were more hours in the day we would have loved to dine there. We did visit the bar for a night cap and even for a Tuesday it was busy. There are heaters spaced through out the tent and well lite.

NorwayJust a couple of small things: When it says parking charges "may" apply, they definitely do apply. The AC was kicked off somehow while we were out, and when we returned, we needed to wait until the restaurant was closed to reboot the system. The staff was very helpful and it turned out fine.
Everything really. Great location. Wonderful, friendly, and attentive staff all around. The hotel itself and the rooms are a bit compact, but luxurious and very comfortable. Beautiful, cigar friendly, adults only grounds to really relax. Easy to navigate, safe, and convenient parking.

United KingdomIn hindsight we should have gone for an upgrade on the standard room size, but this did not spoil our stay. The touch control switches for the lighting were unnecessarily complicated.
The location was perfect as it's in a nice quiet area but within easy reach of the centre. The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. The restaurant was also excellent.

Modernised beautiful old Bruge building. Great bedroom, bathroom & parking. Breakfast was good and was served in an open air dining room. The Bar, spacious bar seating area & evening Dining are outside in the garden. Close to the old town.
