Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

It was a nice apartment with the facilities we expected. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was good. The location was good with the station within walking distance and easy access into Brussels. The parking was easy.

United StatesReally, nothing particularly stands out for dislikes. We stayed 2 nights here to conclude a 10-day trip to Belgium and the Netherlands. After visiting both Brussels and Amsterdam for 4 days each, we returned to Brussels for our last 2 days. Here's a tip that I wish we knew ahead of time: Zaventem has two separate train stops. One is the Brussels Airport/Zaventem train stop. The other is just the Zaventem train stop along the city metro and Intercity (IC) train systems. If you are going to this apartment, DON'T go to the Brussels Airport/Zaventem train station!! If you do, you will have to pay the 14 Euro airport.surcharge. Go to the regular Zaventem.train station and then do the 7-minute.walk.to.the apartment. If you are coming in from a flight, you will already be at Brussels Airport, so this tip doesn't apply to you. This tip is for those coming in by train from elsewhere. Also, taking the city bus to the airport is quick, easy, and inexpensive if you follow the owner's instructions left in the apartment. You can pay the bus fare with your credit card. It's only 2,50 Euro per person. The airport Terminal is only 2 bus stops away....about a 5-minute ride.
Communication with the owner was excellent. The apartment was very clean, orderly, spacious, and comfortable. It is located very near to the Brussels Airport, but is in a residential area close to restaurants, shops, taverns, a city bus stop, and it's about a 7-minute walk to the Zaventem metro train station with easy travel into Brussels. The apartment was well-equipped, and the owner left complimentary drinks and snacks for us, which were appreciated, especially after some hours of travel from Amsterdam. Shower pressure and hot water were excellent. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped for eating in and cooking in the room, if that is your desire, though we didn't. Residential neighbors were quiet. For the owner, I would recommend keeping an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer in the apartment, but upon request, he ensured they were delivered and they were good, sturdy, working appliamces. One interesting story is that the apartment is decorated with some framed posters of Belgium cities (Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp, etc.). However, one city, Dinant, was unfamiliar to us. Looking it up on YouTube, we watched a couple of travel videos about Dinant and thought it looked like a very interesting and lovely place to visit. Dinant is about 1.5 hours south of Brussels by train, not far from the French border. It was such a lovely, little, river-side town with some beautiful views! We had a fantastic time and would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it if you have the time and interest. We were able to leave the apartment at 8:30 am and arrived in Dinant by 10:45 am. After spending 6 hours there, we caught the 5 pm train back to Brussels and was back to Zaventem by 7 pm. It was an easy day trip that was well worth it!

CanadaThe overall cleanliness: floor was sticky, bathroom smelly (humidity and unknown). Comfort wasn’t great at all. Decent bed but only one hot duvet. AC did not work as expected, hence the temperature was inadequate. Also, no noise isolation whatsoever. You hear other apartments like you were in them as well as other noises coming from the street and the sky.
Location is great, 20 min walk from airport. Accessing and Check in very easy. Small treats when arriving. Decent TV and general equipment.
