The owner was welcoming and helpful. The place was tidy and clean. Including the room and its private toilet, as well as the shared kitchenette and living room. WiFi quality was fast and stable. I used it for remote work over three days without any problems. House interior decoration style gives an authentic experience. A variety of free Teas was available in the shared kitchenette area. The location is within a maximum of 10-15 minutes walk from important streets and landmarks.

The location was really great for visiting museums and walking around the medieval city. The shared mini-kitchen and lounge upstairs was very useful for making our own breakfast and pack lunches. There is an excellent bakery nearby as well as a good supermarket. Helpful host and warm welcome.

There was a lot of building noise going on outside early in the mornings . It would be okay with the windows closed but if it’s hot, you’d need a fan in the room.

The location was perfect for visiting the centre of Bruges. The room was very comfortable and there was a nice shared area upstairs.

There’s nothing to not like!

Everything about this property is awesome! First of all, I so appreciated the welcome message and personal contact made by Wim, the host, as soon as I made the booking. He made everything so simple and stress-free with the open, easy contact we established. Right away he sent me links to his recommendations for restaurants, sites, activities, and more. He also gave me such useful and practical information on how to get from the train station to the property, and it was so helpful that I was able to leave my bag before check-in. Wim is so friendly and it was wonderful to chat with him about many different topics! He is such an interesting person! The location of the property is prime! It’s right in the heart of everything yet a few steps down a quiet street away from any noise. It’s also very easy to locate! The property itself is beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean! From the entryway to the room to the bathroom to the common area loft. I really appreciated the water left for me upon arrival, and having other beverages and snacks available in the loft for purchase is very convenient, as well as the refrigerator to keep them in. I have to say that Wim thinks of everything and does everything to perfection! I’m so glad I got to stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming place last weekend. Wim, the host, is truly exceptional. He is very accommodating and warm, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The room is equipped with all the essentials, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine waiting for us in a basket upon arrival. The common area is a delightful space where you can make yourself a cup of coffee or tea and prepare your own breakfast in the morning. Additionally, you can enjoy the available bottles of wine and beer from the fridge and pay for them afterwards. These thoughtful touches add to the overall comfort and convenience of the stay. What’s not to like

We stayed 2 nights at Abiente rooms and it was perfect from start to finish . Location is excellent, host Wim is extremely friendly and informative. Our room was spotlessly clean and fresh , with some beautiful personal touches . The use of the upstairs loft is a lovely addition to, we enjoyed morning coffee here , and the little mini bar payable in your room was much appreciated for a night cap . If you’re visiting the beauty that is Brugge this is the perfect base .

This apartment is a little gem in the city center. Win has done a great job with this place. It has everything you need and is very cozy and comfy. He gave recommendations for everything and really went out of his way to be a outstanding host. We were traveling in Europe for about a month, and this was our favorite place. There was a building site near the room, BUT! In fact the sound proofing is so good we didn't hear it at all. I only mention it to highlight that noise is not a concern at all!

Abiente was really outstanding. Really cute little house which felt so much nicer than a hotel, and beautifully decorated. Super clean, great location, and the common area upstairs was really nice too. The host was really friendly and the personal touches made this a really special stay!

Location amazing in the middle of all you want to do and see in Bruges. Host exceptional and helpful. Room was big and spotless and very comfortable Facilities great and far exceeded our expectations. Free tea and coffee, a lovely little bottle of wine in the room and you could buy alcoholic drinks within the property at reasonable prices.

There is nothing to dislike

Everything about this place was wonderful. The owner Wim was superb and exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is about as good as you could get as well being only 3 to 4 minutes away from the market square or 2 minutes away from The Waffle House. I can't recommend this place enough.

Generally everything was great, Wim was wonderful host, he was kind, understanding and helpful. The house was very central, very close to everywhere and the room was comfy and cosy. The kitchen area on the top floor was useful.

Everything was perfection!

We just loved everything! Wim, the host, was the kindest! He helped us with everything, from how to travel to the location to any recommendations + prepared our room beautifully with champagne and even wrote our name out on the door of our room in Hungarian. These little things count so much! The room itself was so nice, cozy and comfortable. The location was the best, literally few minutes walking distance from everything important and yet very quiet, so perfect for resting! Thank you for everything, Wim! Hope to see you soon! :)
