“The single-floored cottage is quite large (there's a strange room in the middle which is used for storage) with well-equipped kitchen. There is a sizeable garden and patio, which would have been great if we'd had nicer weather. (It was chilly when we arrived but quick phone call to Simon meant we could adjust the central heating easily). Parking was easy, right next to the front door. It feels very private and was quiet despite being quite near to a main road. We could easily walk to the canal for a bit of fresh air. Also very much enjoyed visits to Ghent and Brussels from here.”
