“3 Paardekens is a hotel which is perfect if you are trying to stay close to city center, for a relatively cheap price. I wouldn't say anything is cheap in Mechelen, but the prices only get higher as you get closer to city center, and 3 Paardekens manages to balance this well. The breakfast in the morning is one of my favorites, and the hotel puts you right in the middle of the city. It's location is close to Veemarkt, where you have plenty of options for public transportation, and close to many tourist attractions, bars and restuarants.”
