“The hotel is family owned and run and that was reflected in all aspects of its super friendly service - from check in (your bags look heavy, we’ll give you a ground floor room), great advice on where to eat and what to see and a breakfast that amply catered for both a normal and a gluten free diet. The location, just off the Grote Markt, was excellent.”
“The location for visiting Ypres and the surrounding areas was excellent. The hotel is just a short walk from Ypres centre. We parked the car and left it there :) The breakfast was great, excellent wide selection of foods to suit everyone. We had dinner at the hotel one evening and the food was excellent, we even had a complimentary amuse bouche between starter and main which was so delicious, our compliments to the chef. The room was perfect for us, very comfortable, several different lighting options, tea and coffee making facilities, a comfy bed and excellent shower. The staff were all delightful and welcoming, you can tell this is not a chain hotel, the service was impeccable.”
“From arriving to leaving the staff were professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant. We have stayed before and this time we had an upgraded room which in the future we will defo opt for. I have traveled for years and have to say the room had the most powerful shower I have ever encountered = FANTASTIC! One other point there is a private bike/motorbike parking garage - something I have not noticed until this visit. I have to mention the private car-park is easy and security barrier controlled.”
