Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Saudi ArabiaI liked everything about this place, to me whenever l book accommodation l start my search considering: price, cleanliness, location. I booked twin bedroom, because standard single room wasn’t available. I believe twin room for 2 person would be small, but since l was alone it was perfect. All mention above this place provides, plus they won’t charge you for late check out ( since some places in Sarajevo use this tactic to scam guests ) I had that bad experience in Aparthotel, l overslept and woke up 15 min over the check out time. They did not called me, nor check on me - l woke up by myself and l call the receptionist after l apologized, told her l will be in minutes there, she replied to me - no worries, take your time and she charge me for one more night because of those 25 minutes. I was shocked, about to call police because l know it is illegal. However my flight wouldn’t wait for me so l left. I am glad not all business owners in Sarajevo are like that, that’s why l recommend highly Villa Alexandra and stay away from Aparthotel.

Although I was on a business trip in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I instantly felt at home in my apartment Vila Alexandra. The building itself looked better than expected and the flat was more spacious than on the photos. Well furbished, too. I liked the location as well - close to the city centre, but not too close so that it gets noisy.

I have never met a better staff in my life. They are very polite and always available plus they upgraded my room just because it was available and more fitting for a couple. Beds are comfortable, everything is very clean, wifi is very strong and nights are quiet. Location is great and there are plenty of food options within 5 minutes
