Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SingaporeNo lift 🛗. Carrying luggage up and down the staircase is a killer. Especially if you are staying at the top floor using spiral staircase. For elderly and small children who have difficulty climbing up may need to reconsider staying in the hotel. You get breathless .
The room is clean. The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff is friendly and the service to help bring up the luggage. The view from the tiny window is superb .

IndiaI knew upper floors are accessible by stairs only. But I didn't realise, it would be so many of them. I don't mind climbing up and down stairs as I do that back home everyday. But taking the luggage up and then down was definitely a task! Also as there was no intercom in the room, for any query, question, request one has to come all the way down.
I had a nice big, airy, well ventilated room with lot of light (and curtains for blocking it). The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. I had hot water available through out the day. All the promised amenities were there. All the staff was very helpful. They always greeted with smile and tried to help. The breakfast was good. It was a pity that I didn't get much time to enjoy it everyday and eat quickly as I had to leave for work early. The hotel is right in the heart of old Sarajevo. So there are ample options of cafes and restaurants around. Top tourist spots and main market are also nearby, in a walkable distance.

BelgiumThe room was very small, lacking a proper closet, table, and shower was also pretty small, basically, the room size should be bigger, in order to accommodate 2 people and additional furniture.
The location of the hotel is great, the rooms are clean and the staff was helpful.

CanadaThe owner's practice of tricking people into settling for less than agreed upon is unacceptable. He informed us 16 hours before check-in that the free breakfast was canceled, leaving us no time to find alternatives. We tried to cancel future dates, but he refused. Then, with less than 24 hours until check-in, he canceled the booking, forcing us to find last-minute accommodations. The room lacked soap, which we didn't receive until the afternoon of our second day. This is unacceptable and leaves much to be desired. There was no AC, the behavior was scammy, and the reviews seemed fake. Overall, a bad experience.

United KingdomNo air conditioning, especially with the high temperatures. The breakfast was very limited one plate, a boiled egg couple slices of salami, vegetables and bread and tea. Would have been nice for some room service to clean the room once during the 3 days we stayed. Also no cupboard to hang clothes or a dressing table they supply a hanging rail.
The location was perfect within walking distance of main sights, food and restaurants. The accommodation had no air conditioning and the temperatures was 36 degrees plus most days, to be fair they did provide a fan which helped during the night. I have been told these temperatures are not expected. The rooms were of a decent standard and size and on-suite nice and clean.
