I had a peaceful stay at Rooms Ivan-Popic. I asked for a quiet room at the back and was given one, which I appreciated as there was a rather noisy family staying while I was there. I also appreciated the breakfast and dinner there, although I would recommend greater choice of what to have rather than the set meals they offer. I wasn't feeling particularly hungry, and said so, yet was still given huge portions, most of which I had to leave. The female hostess was very friendly and welcoming, though I have to say that a response from the male host did leave a bad taste in my mouth. While paying for my accommodation in cash and waiting for two euros change, I was met with a very sharp response saying that it's only two euros - I didn't volunteer to leave you a tip, and didn't appreciate being made to feel I was being tight or ungenerous in expecting my change. Apart from this, I enjoyed my stay in this accommodation, and particularly appreciated its location being a little away from the busy centre, yet still within walking distance of the bus station and also St James' Church through the vineyard.

The only thing I don't like is having no access tea making facilities in the daytime or evening when back from a long day or a microwave if you have something to eat which needs heating.

I just returned from a pilgrimage to Medjugorje and had to rave about our stay at Rooms Ivan. This charming guest house wasn't just perfectly situated for exploring the town—a quick walk to St. James Church and Apparition Hill—but it was also impeccably clean! From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed. The sparkling lobby felt fresh and airy, and our room was spotless. It was clear the owners take immense pride in cleanliness, and it makes a difference. But it wasn't just a sterile kind of clean. The owners, Maria and Ivan, added thoughtful touches that made the place feel warm and inviting. Overall, the guest house exceeded expectations. Marija & Ivan are very kind people, they adjusted our meals and other services to our needs, made us feel like we were at home, the food was superb! the location is just perfect, 5 min walking to the church, . We had such a blessed time in Medjugorje.

The only thing would have been to have a little more variety at breakfast which was plentiful but a little bit of a change would be great. What can you expect though for 5 Euros. Always hot water,fresh towels as requested and spacious room and balcony in a quiet area within 5 or so minutes walk from the Chapel.

Maria our host and her mother in Law were lovely. Very helpful,Maria even doing some photocopying for me. They were always on hand to help but not intrusive. Lovely family and we would be happy to return to this property on our next pilgrimage to Medugorje.Room spacious and clean, fresh towels as required,comfortable bed,very quiet,never a lack of hot water 🙂

The bed was a little too hard for me. I enjoyed breakfast but because their was a slight language difficulty we could not request choices. It would be a good idea to have breakfast request cards….sometimes the bread was not fresh at breakfast. I think English pilgrims would like a few more English for better communication

I liked the location quiet and close to the vineyards. Use of fridge and kettle outside our room.. great to have an iron and ironing board too. Maria our host left us to ourselves
