Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff was amazing. The warm welcome by Farah and the chats + fruits we enjoyed with Mustafa made our trip truly unforgettable.

GreeceWe booked a room, booking confirmed our reservation and we arrived at a closed and nearly abandoned hotel. We knocked the doors, the ringbells and nothing. We called and the gentlemen responsible then informed us that the hotel is closed and he cancelled all reservations. He didn't cancel anything and till now you can book a room in the platform as he hasn't give a little time to inform booking. Terrible service

United StatesI hope breakfast returns. It would have been a great option...though there's a great cafe just down the road and a very relaxed and popular shisha lounge a few blocks away.
The Hotel Michele is highly recommended for guests looking for a personable and non-corporate experience. The staff was fabulous and friendly, and I really enjoyed staying in what felt like a "real" residential neighborhood above the tourist madness. My room and the hotel itself were quirky and no-nonsense. While not an especially glamorous stay, I highly appreciated the peace and quiet as well as the sincere staff who didn't faun on guests with saccharine sweetness, instead showing old-school hospitality. Many thanks!

HungaryI choused this hotel for two reasons. Breakfast and private parking. There where no breakfast and the garage isn't suitable for parking. We even might damaged our car to try to park in there.

GermanyMore a lost place than a hotel: The reception was empty except when checking in. The restaurant was abandoned. I had dead mosquitos and other insect on my sheet and a spot on the other bed sheet. There was no breakfast. The light on my floor did not work properly, so I had to navigate through an empty building with my cell phone light. Can't recommend!

He gave us an upgrade with a large room and was very helpful - especially in organizing a new part for our car which was broken. The area is very good both in terms of location and atmosphere. All the best and hopefully one day we will come back to Sarajevo and Hotel Michele.

SloveniaThe room was dirty, there were no towels and the ones they brought me, were dirty. The water ran brown, there was no room cleaning and the sheets were also dirty. The sink and the bathtub had dry and gross hair and dirty spots everywhere and the toilet brush was full of excrement. Although there was written that the breakfast is possible (for 6 EUR), no breakfast was possible! There wasn’t written anything about payment not possible with cards… I had to pay with cash and wanted the receipt on the company, but instead I haven’t got anything but insults from the manager. He was yelling and insulting me through the phone (you can imagine the Balkan words he called me). No TV in the room and the fridge… old, dirty and broken. The hotel doesn’t deserve one star, no four like they declare to be! It should be shut down and checked by the proper inspection department.

SwedenNice, friendly and very helpful owner and staff. The location is good, in a peaceful area but still very close to the city centre and old town. The interior of the hotel is really beautiful. The hotel appears to still be in a starting-up phase (August 2023) after having been closed for some time, but things are well-functioning.
