The owners, and all the staff are so friendly & helpful. The location is perfect… Nature all around, but still close enough to reach all the key points in minutes. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back.

Better clarity that the establishment is cash only.

The location is wonderful, enables one to see how the town once was. The family is very friendly and Joseph is a gem, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast great and the place is spotless.

B&B Villa Elena is listed at 22 Kraljice Mira Street, Medugorje = which is in the center of the city, near the cathedral, next to Hotel Luna, BUT - the actual location is some 2 kms further, at end a the Bijakovici neighborhood = hard to find - we had to call the hosts to ask them to come and collect us, what they generously did

The quiet location 😊 - the B&B Villa Elena is advertised as Bed & Breakfast = so the price for the accommodation should include the breakfast... They do serve correct breakfast = delicious, but except for the eggs the rest is plastic-packed jams, butter, etc = all this for an extra price - my 40 years travel experience proved to-date that B&B means bed and breakfast are included in the price, no extra charges = at Villa Elena this is not the case

It was exceptional however If there was towel for shower and if the water didn’t keep running down the toilet nonetheless i managed to stop it by lifting the toilet lid. Sorted

There is nothing in particular we didn't like. But do note that the accommodation takes cash only and there isn't many ATM around Medjugorje.

The accommodation was very clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The accommodation also had free parking available and the views around the B&B was really good as well. It's also close to Medjugorje church (St. James's Church) - 4 mins drive, or 20 mins walk - and to the Apparition Hill as well.

The view of the peaceful garden, and the quiet serenity of the „off the main road“ location was exceptional. Ellena went out of her way to prepare a full breakfast buffet for me 45 min earlier than usual, as I had to leave early. The room and bath were clean and comfortable - with a nicely firm mattress which I prefer. There is ample parking and a great restaurant (Alf) on the corner, so all needs are easily met.

I think Villa Elena was very nice.

It was in a great location away from the business of the downtown area and close to Apparition Hill. The people there were very hospitable and helpful. The beautiful green area around it was wonderful too. The breakfast was great!

It’s my first time in Medjugorie. I really like villa Elena, it’s very quiet and beautiful surrounded by picturesque wineries and green fields. 15 minutes walk from the church. 5-7 minutes from Apparition hill. The Apparition hill and climbing pilgrims could be seen from my balcony on the top floor which is fantastic! The room is spacious enough for one person, I couldn’t expect more!! Elena and her son Ivan are amazing hosts, very helpful and warm-hearted.

We loved how kind and welcoming the family were. They made us feel so much part of the real Medjugorje. The Villa is in a scenic location near Podrobo, facing apparition hill and cross mountain a short scenic walk to Medjugorje. The rooms are beautifully presented and the breakfast was wonderful!
