The location is a bit far and uphill from the old city - it is still walkable distance wise but not comfortable, whereas traffic was quite heavy day and night. The lobby restaurant was practically the only one which was always open, staff was very kind and food good, but menu limited so it got repetitive after a few days. The sushi bar was too dark, more a bar than a restaurant. There were no hairdresser or other beauty services at the spa, allegedly because of lack of staff. Outside pool and ambience a bit underwhelming.

The room was spacious and it had a beautiful view of the Caspian sea, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very kind and ready to help. The gym was pretty good for a hotel.

cold water in the outdoor swimming pool

Amazing View on Baku by night. The towers lightning at night from outdoor swimming pool looks amazing, what a pity the water in the pool was cold to swim. The size of the room is amazing, more than any other average room size. Bed is pretty comfortable, the bathroom is big and has enough space to put all your stuff and cosmetics, the shower is pretty large however the water stream could be better. What I like about the room is the wardrobe which gives a lot of space to put all the clothes and luggage, it is good and convenient solution. The stuff is extremely polite and well manners, smiling and eager to help:-) both at the reception desk and on the breakfast area. The lady who is manager is very energetic and truly adorable with the help and service she provides :-) however I was a bit disjointed with the breakfast restaurant which seems to not have enough space for all the guest considering the amount of rooms/guests, thus at the time we arrived to the breakfast (the breakfast is nice but I would expect more from this standard of hotel) we heard there is no space and they can offer the breakfast in the room instead ....also at the time we arrived there was a welcome stuff - sweets and fruits left in our room which I found very charming however after w while someone from the stuff came to the room to take back all the stuff claiming it is a mistake...it was really awkward situation which I found not very kind to put a gust in very uncomfortable position....good we did;t taste anything yet ...:-)

Their hospitality, warm and welcoming personnels whom assisted with my checkin and throughout my stay for me and my family. They have a luxurious spa and the service was at its peak, I enjoyed my me time as if I’m still in the UAE, high-end classy and luxurious describes it all.

Excellent location, facing the Caspian sea and a really large and spacious room. Hotel has a nice indoor pool as well. Breakfast spread was also nice.

The staff at the restaurant did not speak English, which was a bit challenging.

The hotel was amazing. Staff at the reception are very professional. I would like to give a big shout out to Ramin, the restaurant manager, for his kindness and professionalism. He is a very dedicated to his work and was making sure that every guest is having a good experience.

Not much. They mentioned the lounge was free as a part of my room yet charged me the n usage. Felt it was not communicated right.

Location, view and facility. It was a great experience. The gentleman at the reception upgraded us to an executive room and the apartment was quite big. Thanks to him.

It was difficult to return to Hotel after 8 pm. Although the funicular service is very near to the hotel, the service frequency was poor and it closed operations at 8 pm. Returning from the Baku boulevard to the hotel after dinner by walk was a challenge.

Excellent location and views. Breakfast had Indian vegetarian options which tasted good too! We got a room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise! 😃

Lady staff at breakfast was informed for coffee but never delivered, had to finally self serve. Indoor pool not allowed for kids after 4pm, it was freezing cold in outdoor pool, kid could not use facility. On 11th afternoon pool bar was closed.

The food buffet is not great and the restaurant is very small, the staff in the restaurant couldn't follow up with all the people in the restaurant. Simple milk request with coffee can take forever.

As for the services and breakfast, it’s more like a 4 star hotel. They don’t greet you at the entrance, they didn’t clean our room every day, WiFi is very bad in the room and on the outside pool.

Their pool is not good for the family with kids, there are several staff in the pools that ask the kids to be quiet every 5 minutes.

Maintenance can improve across the hotel, even in the Bar19 the guest toilet seat is broken. And the same is true across the hotel on maintenance
