The ensuite is a little cramped but that is understandable in an old Hotel.

Great central location close to train station and shopping. Food outlets were close by and the bistro at the Hotel was good. A great venue to stay and experience VIVID.

Last time we stayed we had room 2 which was very roomy and comfortable.This time we had room 3 which was very small, difficult for 1 person to get into bed as it was up against the wall and considering we are in our 60s not at all suitable.The modular bathrooms are nicely done but a bit on the small size and the step out into the bedroom is a little high again for our age group.Unfortunately we probably won't be staying with you again unless we can have a more spacious room.And considering we paid approximately the same price last time we stayed, this time it was not good value for money.

Left before breakfast from a centrally located, clean but older hotel accommodation. The staff were fantastic, the room at the top of long flights of stairs comfortable and quiet. Price was good and the pub downstairs was very good.

I booked 3 rooms. The one I stayed in the bathroom had a slight sewerage smell, which could be easily sorted.

Staff were exceptional, so helpful and kind. Room was comfortable. This was an unexpected stop over due to flight cancellations, overall happy eith our stay

The glass walled bathroom in the middle of the room. No fridge or desk. No lift. No soundproofing from neighbouring room.

Central location was ok for a short stay. The room was clean and reasonable size. It’s really a city centre pub with rooms above.

No coffee / tea inside room was on a different level . Very small bathroom wasn’t as pictured. 5 days after checkout still waiting for security deposit to go back into my account

No lift access (thankfully only 2 floors to navigate) which made moving luggage a little difficult. Tea and coffee facilities aren't located in rooms, but in a communal spot in the stairwell, likewise for ironing facilities. It works, but is awkward, especiallyif you're on the second floor and have to go down to the first floor to make a drink. A small fridge in the room would have been good. My least favourite aspect of the stay was the bathroom. Very, very small, built into the corner of the bedroom and elevated up on a kind of platform. If you had some mobility issues or were a little larger you'd have difficulty using the bathroom space.

Great location, close to Town Hall train station and light rail. Helpful staff. Very comfortable bed, and the pressure in shower was amazing. I thought noise from the pub downstairs would keep me awake at night, but surprisingly it didn't. Gorgeous art deco design in stairwell.

It definitely didn't have the modern and luxurious feel that I was hoping to get from the photos! Check in was at the bar of the Irish bar downstairs. Coffee supplies were communal so couldn't have a coffee in my room. Lots of dust.
