I'm satisfied with almost everything, but Idk, it was super cold at night because it's winter. If someone open the window, I just felt like sleeping outside. I should take a lot of blankets from counter desk, but it provided just after laundry so I should wait for it. For someone who visit this hostel in winter, I recommend take some extra blankets at first.

Definetely a CURTAIN! Every bed had each, and I think it's super important thing for hostels. Location was reaallly nice, cuz I could walk everywhere in the city that I planned. But it's in the middle of city, so it can be noisy place for someone who has sensitive ear. Honestly, I didn't expected foods here, but it was way more NICE than my expectation. Even some amenity they provided like bodywash, shampoo and conditioner was decent. I just chose this place because of location and some recommendations of reviews, those was really helpful for newbie came to Sydney as very first place. I could save a lot of money. Thank you

Not enough bathrooms, despite having multiple bathrooms on each floor, guests often have to wait for their turns to use

Not many toilets and showers so you have to queue at peak time, better to shower in the evening to avoid the queues!

The pods were really comfortable for two people and felt private. The dinners and breakfasts were delicious and great vegetarian options with big portions. Great that they have free ice cream! We could walk everywhere from the hostel and it’s not far from the greyhound bus stop. Would highly recommend to stay here while in Sydney.

Bathrooms. Only 3 per floor. Total 9 for 80 or so beds. Recommended new guests to keep adequate time in the morning if they have a meeting/similar to attend. Plus, bathroom and show are inside the same cubicle. Would be better to have separate like other hostels

Reception was rarely actually at the desk which was annoying because I needed a towel and blanket and had trouble getting it. My dorm smelled SO bad from one of the quests stuff and staff came in every day but didn't address the problem. The common area is claustrophobically small, breakfast included very cheap items and no nutrition so I ended up skipping it.

Dorm bed had all the necessities like curtain, power outlet, storage, and bed light. Evening meal included vegetables and was better quality than expected, bathrooms were cleaned regularly and there were plenty available. Wifi was good. Staff goes into the rooms and vacuums every day as well. Location is great with regards to public transport access and walking distance from center sights.

Cleanliness in the dorms was bare minimum, bathrooms cleaned frequently but too many guests and too few bathrooms meant waiting a long time.

Good family-style dinners, spacious lockers, friendly staff, roomy bathrooms, free luggage storage. Shelves, hangers and hanging room in the bunks was also very nice!

Bathrooms - as many people write, toilets and showers are really few for the number of people. It would help if at least the toilets were not connected to the shower. The wait just for the toilet was sometimes very long - something that probably can't be changed now, but what can be changed and for free is the attitude of the staff - say hello when you say hello, smile...don't be obnoxious. You work in a hostel, if you don't enjoy working with people, find something else. Most of the people who work here, we felt like we were bothering them. One last thing, which is not about the hostel, but the people in it - when you sleep in a room with x people, don't be selfish!!! The guy who was sleeping above us regularly started eating around midnight, everyday. Do what you want, but unwrap a bag of chips that rustles above your head, keep banging something on the shelf, jump off the bed instead of getting off normally so you don't wake up the others...in short, don't be film selfish

Great price, comfortable bed, privacy even in a room for 12 people. Plenty of space for things. Super breakfast and dinner included. Really close to everything. Price vs. what it offers is perfect!

3 toilets serving at least 40 persons in a floor. Rooms are tightly packed with occupants

Grabriel- one of the front desk officer was so exceptional in his dealings and interpersonal skills when handling customers complaints. He is not only professional but skillful in what he does. He is not too young to become the manager. Location is strategic and breakfast nice.

It would be nice if there were standalone toilets instead of only toilets+showers.

The location is in the heart of Chinatown and very close to a tram line and tons of good eateries. Not only do the beds each have a curtain for privacy, they also have their own set of shelves, which makes a big difference in terms of convenience and comfort. It was also my first time at a hostel where they provide daily cooked breakfast and dinner.

I could never get the rollaway lockups to open and close smoothly. The stairs are brutal when you've got heavy luggage.

Couples sharing beds and lots of long term stays (>1 month). Made it hard to sleep with people waking up as early as 5am to go to work. Couples and people working should have separate accommodations as it can get quite noisy in the room.

Private beds with storage were nice. Central to a lot of attractions.

Not very social, everyone keeps to themselves so not ideal if you want to make friends!
