Well designed rooms, comfortable beds and nice privacy curtains, bathroom inside the room, big lockers, nice kitchen and eating area. And to top it off an amazing terrace with a beautiful view when the cruise ships arent there !

There were lots of steps to get to and from Circular key. Maybe a map to show route without steps, esp. when dragging luggage.

Excellent location in the Rocks, center of Sydney, easy access to the bridge and Operal House, transportation are 5 mins away walking, can meet many people from the world. next year I will come back, this is my first choice

Best view for Opera House on rooftop.

Unfortunately my stay was a quick overnight stay, came in late & leave early, so I paid for a room with ensuite. So it was extremely annoying to have the shower head small & decent spray. Most of the water just poured down the back wall & I just about needed to stand under the soap tray to be able to rinse my hair off.

The property is in an excellent location. Very clean & fresh air scent. Was very impressed.

Great location. Helpful staff. Private room and bath comfortable. Could use a few hooks in the bedroom and a face towel in the bath. Hot shower and comfortable clean bed! Would definitely stay again!

It stands on the hill, so it was hard to carry suitcase because there were so many stairs.

I saw Opera House from the rooftop. It was very pretty especially at night.

Pillows very uncomfortable. Would like to see better pillows, tissues in room, maybe even just a tiny mini fridge.

Nothing much actually. The mistake of the room I guess which cause a bit inconvenience for us because we need check out and check in again for 2nd night instead of being able to stay in same queen room for both nights. but other than that I love the place, don't mind staying there again. It's around 10-15min walk to nearest Woolworth/Coles. And the place is on a hill so a bit of a walk up after shopping.

The booking actually got issues as we booked a room for 5 adults but apparently there is no such thing. Their biggest room is for 4 adults. The receptionist was kind enough to accommodate us by giving us another queen bed room for free. I really appreciate that. I love the kitchen area. It's super big space and many utensils and cooking area. Even has a lot of compartment to put your items and also fridge. They even have space to put free food means food that you can't finish can share it with others. They even have a rooftop which has nice view of Sydney Harbour. The rooms are spacious and looks new. Bathroom was nice too. No aircond for the queen room but got aircond in the 4 pax room. No heater but blanket was thick enough to warm us. It's near to the harbour bridge but a 10-15min walk to Sydney opera house.

It was a bit hard to find my allocated room. A map of this large complex would have been helpful.

The location and value for money considering the prime location in central Sydney. It is also one of few hostels that welcomes not only young travellers but travellers of all ages.

the lift is needed, however they provided extra staff. i loved this stay.

we loved the location. the roof tce is superb, even in wet weather it was great to sit up there. the staff were fantastic. THE ROOM WAS BRILLIANTLY CLEAN, AND STAFF SOOO HELPFUL. the lift was broken at the time, but the guys lifted luggage, and spoilt us.

The location, the room, the amenities, i don’t think this can be described as a hostel! It is beautiful!

Make sure to travel lightly and wear comfortable shoes, as the way up to the hostel from Circular Quay involves many steep hills and staircases. I wish I knew before booking that there's active construction and remodeling on site, so I couldn't access the rooftop after the first night. The bunk beds aren't fully covered, so if someone so if someone else turns their light on you'll see it, but that's expected in a shared room. No toiletries in the bathroom. The buffet only has stuff like muffins, toast, fruit, and drinks, which is to be expected for that price.

The common areas are beautiful, calm zones for you to relax and enjoy, with the rooftop being the grand jewel. Spectacular views of the harbor. The kitchen is very spacious, with multiple areas for cooking or using the microwave, and it is greatly equipped (the picture I took shows only one little cooking area, but there were multiple just like it). They also have a great cafe with excellent prices for the area. Speaking of, you're just minutes away on foot from The Rocks Markets and the Harbour. The area is picturesque with a historical beauty. The rooms were very comfortable and sufficiently spacious, with their own ensuite bathroom, adequate lockers for your stuff, and decent beds. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly, there's someone in reception 24/7. The ruins throughout the building made it very unique as well. I was extremely comfortable in this hostel and would absolutely recommend it. Book in advance though!
