Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandSpa, pool and sauna facilities slightly awkward to get to as you have to walk through the public square. The change room on a different floor from the pool area is inconvenient and doesn’t smell too good. The spa wasn’t warm enough for me to use it in September (around 36C).
Very clean accommodation with friendly and helpful staff. Great location right by a station. Supermarket and a variety of eateries nearby.

AustraliaMy partner suffers from dust mites allergy, and unfortunately he triggered in the apartment that we stayed. I think maybe the rooms need ventilation more often, and the mattress needs a steam cleaning.
Right on top of a train station, easy to get to the CBD. Clean, organised, very elegant. The pool and the gym were fantastic.

Didn’t get to use the facilities at the property due to time constraints. But overall it’s a great place to stay for vacation and exploring the city of Sydney! It is near to the metro station in just minutes away! It is so convenient to travel around the city and near to the airport as well. There are supermarket and restaurants nearby so you can definitely get some groceries done. The staffs are super friendly and welcoming.

Friendly welcome, spacious room, great facilities, nice pool & spa -all heated, nice surprise of complementary wine & card for my birthday! Loved the atmosphere in the entrances and foyer areas, great options of food right downstairs and train station right at the entrance. I parked overnight and the parking was secure.
