Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was a bit dated, but warm, with a heater provided and electric blankets. It was a fair size and very comfy. The restaurant at the motel had excellent food, great outlook from your room or the bistro. If staying in Queenstown for an over nighter, this would be more than suitable.

United KingdomAlthough we requested a room facing away from the highway, we were allocated the first and second room facing the highway and advised there were no other rooms available. First room had a broken window which couldn't close properly. It was a cold August night and when the broken window was discovered, customer service could improve as no-one should accept a room that would let in the winter cold. Window to ensuite in second room could not be closed, so the ensuite was quite cold.
Second room we requested to be moved to had unbroken window, heating and space were fine. Nice view of the mountain from room window. Dinner was amazing and really lifted our opinion of the motel.
