Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaI'm not 100% sure why, if it was because of low season or something else, but the restaurant and bar was closed while we were there. So no chance of a "we'll just stay in for the night" night.
Loved the indoor pool and spa area. Even though it was cold, facilities were still able to be used.

AustraliaSpace for cleaning shoes at the entrance to the cabin - a good mat for example.
Really convenient location and very comfortable for us as a family. The food and the coffee were great and the kids playground is excellent.

MalaysiaThe telephone in our villa are not working and the floor are a bit cold especially in the winter season. Recommend everyone to bring socks or wear slipper
We stayed in 3 bedroom villa and all the rooms have comfortable beds. We had a good sleep that night but its a bit disappointing that only the master bedroom have heated bed and the other 2 rooms does not have any heater in it. Washing machine and dryer are a big bonus for us. Love the center location.

SingaporePaved driveway would be nice. The ground was wet, so moving luggages and keeping clean in the house and car was impossible. My stay was too short!! :)
It's Phillip Island so as long as you drive, I guess almost everywhere is easily accessible. In particular, this resort has a straight road to Cowes! Easy! The resort has all a resort has to offer. The 3-bedroom cabin was fully equipped. No complaints there. Harmless wildlife surrounded you all the time, even during the night up in the trees. Really up-close and personal. Loved it!

SingaporeThe wooden floor in the kitchen is cold. Can consider to provide bedroom slippers? We heard some noises at night like luggages rolling on the ground.. quite loud.
Staff at reception were very friendly. The place is really big but we didn’t get to explore. First time using washing machine and dryer overseas and it works! Beds were comfy.

AustraliaThe resort is good, but the furniture in the rooms and aminities are a bit old! The room only has a heater in the main lounge area, so the rooms get a bit cold during the night. There were extra blankets in the room so we didn't have much of a problem. The TV in the room is old with free to air channels, you cannot connect to your device to catch up any paid subscription services. This is not an issue if you intend to spend your time outdoors. It was raining and we couldnt spend outdoors. The reception has a collection of DVDs and a couple of board games so the kids were occupied.
Good location not far from attractions, lots of onsite activities for kids. The activities needs to be pre-booked first thing in the morning and it gets booked out quickly during busy days. The staff at check-in and Flametree restaurant was very friendly and caring. Log fire at the main reception area and lots of native wildlife. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing weekend with the family.

AustraliaThe only thing was the Club Wyndham presentation that we agreed to attend. We think there should have been more transparency as to what it was initially as we thought it was more of a market research thing.
The location was super convenient and close to everything (including not too far from the Cowes shops). The staff were really friendly and helpful. The best part though were the facilities which were much more than we expected. Our favourites were the pedal bikes and the sauna (which you book to have to yourself).

AustraliaMore TP in the toilets for my bunghole , maybe 1 or 2 more towels in the room , more milk in the rooms , maybe a few more free games for the kids ig : racket ball , oversize 10 pin bowling and king size chess or a trampoline, a breakfast menu attached to the room information sheet and or better service from reception or the QR code . The self help QR code is missing details when asked about breakfast and the resort restaurant phone number says it is disconnected. These are small things really and our stay was fantastic we would live there if we could afford it and had a great time
Good value breakfast 😋 room was clean and comfortable for a family of 5 , nice roads and walking tracks even in the rain , lots of birds and wildlife to see on the grounds , indoor heated pool and spa was nice and warm , kids and family loved it

AustraliaA bit pricey for what you get, the rooms as I said are functional but is a bit dated, the utensils provided are very basic, not much cooking amenities, there is only a heater and a cooler in the living room so the other rooms gets really cold in night, you can fight it off with the blanket, but when it gets really cold in July August it might be a struggle. It will be good if they can provide a blanket heater. Overall a bit of update on the rooms will help. And lastly the offer to join Club Wyndham seems a bit pushy, we did not go for it but it will be good to be notified of this before hand.
The resort is excellent, sprawled over 66 acres, has got various facilities including heated swimming pool, a private spa (that you need to book), bikes that you can use to paddle around the spawling facility and is really fun for the kids and adults alike, two tennis courts, two gyms and various other facilities. The rooms themselves are quite spacious, beds are comfy. Overall it is functional for a short stay. The breakfast (we paid extra 25$ for it) is quite fulfilling and I will say is value for money (the coffee was good and barista made). The conditioner and shampoo provided was one of the best that we have used in a long time (and we have stayed in pretty high end hotels so we can vouch for it). We were thining to buy a few for our own use.

AustraliaThe villa could have been cleaner. I didn’t feel comfortable barefoot on the floors and the lounge could do with a good clean. This feedback was given to reception. There also wasn’t smart tv connectivity which would have made the stay with our 1 year old a little better. When we arrived all the windows were open so it was a while before we warmed up with the one heater in the living room only. Would be pretty cold in winter.
Location was great! There were a few more villas on the property than I imagined. The pictures on the website I thought were a little deceiving, but it felt private. The bed was super comfy!

AustraliaThe only thing that wasn’t great was the buffet breakfast. There were lots of people and no plates, bread, bacon, juice, fruit etc. had to wait for almost everything and get up and down. Only 1 toaster was never going to work.
The space, units, activities all perfect. Drinks and dinner were great and quick. Perfect location for families. Beds really comfy.
