That we couldn’t get our air con working but thank god we had a heater which made our room lovely and warm.

The location and nice and quiet lovely friendly staff in the village. Great coffee and nice egg and bacon roll and yummy cheese from the cheese shop. We got upgraded to a bigger room being quieter and maybe because we had stayed before.

A little outdated and a little expensive for a mid winter stay but we loved it nevertheless and the outdoor patio / balcony was a bonus.

Close proximity to town / wineries. Good sized room! Hair dryer and iron was great too.

However, there were a couple of minor issues. Due to the estate’s close proximity to the wilderness, there were a few bugs in the bedroom which we found crawling around the bed at night. Additionally, I found some hair on the blankets, suggesting they might not have been washed prior to my stay. While these were slight inconveniences, they did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

My stay at the Pokolbin Village Estate was an experience that truly encapsulated the beauty and serenity of nature, combined with the comfort and luxury of well-designed spaces. The spacious rooms provided a sense of freedom and relaxation, a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. The well-designed bedrooms and bathrooms added a touch of elegance and sophistication to the overall experience, making it feel like a home away from home. The cleanliness was top-notch, reflecting the high standards maintained by the estate. It was a pleasure to return to a spotless room after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The proximity to a café was a delightful bonus. The convenience of having delicious coffee and breakfast just a stone’s throw away added to the overall comfort of my stay.

The staff were fabulous. I had an issue with my air conditioning and they sorted it immediately. The room was well equipped. It would have been nice to have had coat hangers to hang my clothes as I had no hangers with me. There was heaps of tea bags which I really appreciated. There was also a microwave which was good if you needed it. It would gave been nice to have a clock yet I am sure for most people staying there the time wasn't important.

Unfortunately our neighbours next door were smokers, private decks still allow second hand smoke to infiltrate our villa & totally take all fresh air when sitting outside 🚬😞

Well located behind Village shops. Lovely garden areas & little decks facing sunshine & pool area. Very clean & welcoming presentation & spacious. Linen was beautiful, mattress & pillows perfect. Little extras include microwave, crockery & cutlery, wine glasses 👌
