Housekeeping could have been a bit better. E.g. no kitchen facilities in room, cleaning/replacing cups and utensils would have been nice. Bathroom very outdated, could do with an upgrade.

First night there was a function and hotel restaurant was not staffed properly to keep up with it. The staff were very lovely but there was no sign or telling that there would be over an hour delay in orders which was difficult to manage with young kids and we had to ask several times if our orders were coming? We were only told at the 45 minute mark why there was a delay and we would’ve been happy to order elsewhere for dinner. In saying that the staff were really nice and offered us free refill of our dinner drinks ( soda and juice) . Food was cold when it got to our table.

Close to the beach, clean , lovely staff, room was good size and easy to navigate for us, the door to the balcony was safe to use with young kids.

Hair drier was literally melted Insufficient entertainment options for kids. Chromecast doesn't work properly. WiFi not fast enough to support streaming services to the TV. Takes forever to set up, works for about 5 minutes then drops out and fails to reconnect. When you have young kids, especially ones that are feeling a bit ill, the in room entertainment really need to be better

When we used the spa bath it was very clear that the jets haven’t been cleaned in a long time. The water ended up going brown before even getting into the spa.

Wifi reception was poor Phone in the room wasn’t working The floors in the room were new but everything else was outdated The balcony is very narrow, the ocean views are not as seamless as there is a building in the front, so you really only get to see the side ocean view The bathroom was clean but there was barely any space to keep any belongings. The bathtub was missing the drainage stopper so couldn’t really enjoy. The room service gave us one, but that didn’t function properly. I had an upset tween as she couldn’t enjoy bath bombs

We booked 3 rooms for our family & requested them to be together or close-they were on different floors! We booked weeks ago. Our room for 2 adults & 1 child had 2 towels & 2 cups?

Location is perfect, Caville Ave is just around the corner. Pool is great. Rooms spacious. Lifts to all floors were fast. Parking was handy & reasonably priced.

The Bathroom was a bit dated for a superior ocean view room. The lighting was poor for make up, the shower screen was on a hinge for some reason and swung open with a God awful creak that could wake the dead. It also didnt lock in the water so the bathroom floor became soaked. The toilet seat also slammed down shut if you didn't slowly lower it and the clatter was like cracking a whip. The facilities are nice just a bit old, considering there are a million places to stay up there. The carpet and furniture smelt a bit like dust. Considering that the Novotel is marketed as a bit up scale, it's disappointing. It was a nice stay, just not a luxurious one. The buffet breakfast was pretty ordinary. The melon was under ripe, the eggs were extra runny and the pastries were not fresh baked.

Right above Cavill Avenue and right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The location couldn't be better. It's really central to everything and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is $22 a day but you use the shopping mall parking lot next door. Good when you get a spot not far from the carpark elevator, though sometimes you are half a building away. The view was magnificent and the staff were very friendly.
