Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaIt was very dark in the room with not very good lighting. We were using our phone lights to look through our bags when in the room even when it was a lovely bright and sunny day outside. It is in need of a reno in my opinion as it was outdated.
Great central location within minutes of walking to the esplanade. Nice places to eat such as the Social Club close by.

AustraliaNo black out curtains in the room which faced the outdoor walking area so was bright all night. If you’re a light sleeper the second bedroom (without the black out curtains) could cause an issue as you hear people coming and going. An ice tray with prepared ice would have been a nice touch.
Location is great. Ease of parking. Lovely customer service and we received a call at midday to say the room was ready which was much appreciated. Clean and comfortable rooms.

AustraliaMould on the mattress base of the sofa bed and marks on the "clean'' blankets that were folded in the cupboard. No hot water in the shower at 8.30am in the morning, even after running it for ten minutes with no cold water added.
Great location with easy undercover parking. Nice balcony and view of the ocean. Food options close by.

AustraliaWe had a bit of pool envy as our room overlooked the Mantra's pool area which was far superior to our complex.
We liked the location but it was quieter than expected for the school holidays. The 2 bedroom apartment was nice and roomy but we had to move to the apartment next door after problems with a water leak into our main bedroom. We had a second studio for 2 nights which was upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment as well which suited as well and we didn't need to use the sofa bed for the short stayers. Kitchen facilities more than adequate.

AustraliaDouble bed in the main room was very uncomfortable and not suitable for couples. Whenever one person moves, the whole bed mattress rocks causing disturbance to the other person. Also the bathroom was not suitable for senior elderly. Too hard for them to get into the shower that is over a bath tub because the bath was too high and there were no RAILS to help/assist any elderly or someone with physical disabilities. The bathroom needs some maintenance, and children of neighbouring apartment guests just disposed their rubbish and empty bottles by our balcony and made too much noise by the pool. Main bedroom sliding door was too difficult to open and shut, and didn't close properly.
Great location by the waterfront surrounded by shops and a lot of Café Restaurants.
