Room was a little ‘tired’ and needs upgrading. Although we loved the large suite we booked, the decor was still in the 1980’s. The bathroom has beautiful marble tiles, but they are stained from years of water leaking from the shower. The bar fridge froze everything, even though we turned the temperature to its lowest setting. When the fridge was checked by staff, they agreed it needed to be replaced as the freezer door was missing. We asked for tea bags to be replenished and were told there were none of the English breakfast variety. The air conditioning was really cold, despite being set at 23 degrees and turning the fan right down. As mentioned, I needed to step outside onto the balcony thaw out. The restaurants were the same, thankfully I had a wrap to throw over my shoulders when we ate out. Special mention to the fabulous food we enjoyed at il Piatto, best Italian meal for a very long time. These issues did not spoil our stay, but when you are paying for a ‘premium room’ I would expect more.

Staff were lovely, especially the dining room and casino floor staff. We booked a one bed suite which was very spacious, and had a second toilet and hand basin. Bathroom was huge with a corner spa, great shower and double vanities. Great breakfast included with our stay, espresso coffee was a bonus! Bed was extremely comfortable, nice leather sofa to relax on and a small balcony to sit and thaw out from the air conditioning.

We went to the Vue restaurant for diner and were seated outside at our request. Then forgotten about. We went and found staff after 15 minutes and reminded them we were there. Thankfully the meals we ordered were tasty and the service improved. We went back to Vue for morning coffee (10:30) two days later and after ordering were sat in the lounge area as the restaurant was closed for breakfast. After 10 minutes of seeing no one making our coffees we went and found staff and asked them what was happening with our order. I think they just need to improve on staff training in the restaurant area. I didn't like that you only get one bottle of water each and then have to ask for more which is given to you from the store room hot. It would be great if they would just put more in the fridge in your room.

The pools at Mindil Beach are amazing. The Infinity pool and the Lagoon pool are both exceptional spaces to relax. It was easy to laze away hours on end by the pools. The room was spacious and comfortable. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues which were fixed quickly with a call to the reception. Great location, easy to get into the city. Taxi's readily available and not too expensive.

This property is in an excellent location right on Mindil beach. The swimming pools were a great way to stay cool in the very warm weather. The room we stayed in was comfortable and the breakfast offered had a great selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would happily stay here again.

This was advertised as a 5 star but the hotel is 3 at best and the resort maybe 4.5 but not 5 Small serves of pool bar food and costly. $28 for 6 bites of barra and there were bones in fish Can’t eat pool bar food on the pool beach but can in resort rooms by the pool. Despite request to duty manager for an upgrade this was never followed up and we were there for 7 days Visible mound in bathroom Ratty torn day bed mattresses Beach with wet towels and rubbish in morning $30 per hour late check out?? No reply to food complaint of bones in barre bites. Mouldy beach front. Green on pool edge. Needs to be turned over but was not done No door on checkout change room. Not private. The vue restaurant does not have a view. It is blocked by the big umbrellas. Not sure why they don’t leave them down for the morning and evening.

Comfy bed - medium to firm mattress Good size safe Friendly staff Can use facilities after checkout & Towel and soap provided Scooters out front to city (beam) $20 for a week. The Italian restaurant food was amazing.

Pool was warm and not refreshing. Bars closed early than advertised for a pre dinner or after dinner drink. There seemed to be no security for the Resort. Given a card pass at reception to use at the pool etc. didn’t need to use either once but to get into our rooms. Every door in the resort was unlocked and no key scan required anywhere. The pools were being used by locals which was strange.

I loved the spacious room and bathroom and the direct access to the pool from the lagoon room. The views from the pool and room showcased the natural surrounding beauty very well.

The pools are amazing and both have bars with cocktails that are supposed to be open til 6. . I went down at 5:15 to get a cocktail and both bars refused service as they close at 6. Very dissapointed. The sunset at 6:40pm world have been perfect with a nice cocktail.

It was a work trip so just needed a quite, clean place to work and this place ticked the boxes nicely.
