Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfect.

It was quiet, well presented and Rhonda was phenomenal. So clean and comfortable. We will absolutely go back any time we are on the Sunny Coast. Right across from a walking/running path and park. Very relaxing and beautifully styled.

The location is in a food desert so you really do need to have a car in order to get to cafes and restaurants.

This motel is beautifully renovated with a lovely pool and deck area. It is very retro cool.

Having to ring a bell any time you wanted to order drinks at the bar was disappointing and detracts from how good our stay could have been.

I loved the aesthetic, this place is an absolute vibe!! The space is set out perfectly, so size (fair) doesn't matter. Outdoors is a beautiful space.

Lovely location and amazing pool/area. Room was faultless and sleeping in the bed a dream. Great size TV for relaxing viewing. Nice spot by the river. Unfortunately the weather was poor when we were there, otherwise would have enjoyed using the bikes for a ride along the waterfront

Excellent margaritas and beautiful pool area & a short 10 minute drive to a beautiful rain forest and waterfalls . We used the complimentary bikes to cycle down the river path across from the property and enjoyed amazing fish and chips while watching the sunset . The beach is also just a five minute drive

I was looking forward to seeing this motel, based on the photos and other guest reviews and I was not disappointed. It has been beautifully renovated. Although the rooms are on the smaller size, the attention to detail, decor and clever use of space make them seem larger. The tea/coffee set up and mini-bar are excellent. The beds are huge (super king?) and very comfortable, and the bed linen and towels are high quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and always on hand. We made time to enjoy the garden/pool area too. I liked the fact that the motel is at the quieter end of the road, away from the central strip but still very easy to get too by car or on the free bicycles provided.

When the door was locked, you needed a key to open. Could be stressful in an emergency.

The owner has completed a full renovation of an old hotel. Very modern decor well suited to the location. Plush bedding with stylish finishes. The manager was friendly and helpful.

Note: this motel does not have kitchen of dinning table in the rooms. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area, however the rain kept us inside for Uber eats.

The parking was tight and could be an issue if the property was full, but it was ok for us. The mini fridge is fully stacked with alcohol which is a bummer if you need any space for your own items or if you don’t drink.

The beds were incredible, staff were friendly and the grounds were photo worthy! The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was magnificent!

A beautifully renovated small boutique hotel. Fresh, light and bright with a luxury coastal vibe. Beautiful bed linen and a very comfortable bed and pillows, we slept so well! A spacious bathroom with a large rain shower, complete with lovely Saya toiletries. Oh… and a well stocked mini bar! A large ceiling fan and air con for extra comfort. The hotel is on a busy road but the windows are double glazed and it’s very quiet at night. The pool was great and the outdoor lounge area is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious cocktail from the cute on-site bar. The manager is very friendly and welcoming. I wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night.

The mattresses was great & the linen was so soft, we slept very comfortably. Great water pressure in the shower & we loved the grassy lawn area & the pool!
