Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

New ZealandMy bedside light was not working and although we filled in the form - it wasn't fixed. We had to ask twice more more toilet tissue and ended up going to reception for some - think the housemaid should have left us some.
Room was very tiny for two people. The lighting in the room was the best we have ever experienced (including rooms in Europe. We really appreciated that there was so much light and also really appreciated that we could open the window - we love fresh air. The bed was good - pillows had a little scent which wasn't nice. The location of the hotel is great - so close to everything we wanted. I requested a luggage rack and was quickly given a table for my bag - very much appreciated.

AustraliaWhen we arrived your staff suggested that we pay our key deposit by card being half the cash alternative, we were told it was a hold of 50$ on our account that would be lifted on departure! I inquired 3 more times to various staff and all said it works be lifted immediately on check out. Being on a disability pension 50$ is valuable funds to me,on arrival in Perth and checking our account, finding it not released I called your staff who told me that the deposit would take 7 to 10 days to be released, this was not explained at anytime in my several queries on the matter and were given false information leaving us without the funds for our taxi home when arriving in Perth, we were counting on the funds as our holiday funds were at a minimum. If were given the correct information at arrival and subsequent inquiries I would have paid cash at the onset for the deposit so it would have been refunded immediately on checkout! Your staff misled me every time I inquired about it,I don't blame them because it was clear this is a management direction to inform guests at the onset that " we don't debit your card, we just put a hold on the deposit and lift it IMMEDIATELY on departure!" It wasn't stated at any time that it would take you 7 to 10 days for you to lift your hold! This was my only complaint on an otherwise nice stay, in future I would advise you to disclose this delay at time of arrival. I suggest you inform your staff of proper disclosure of your policies or better still change them,in this day and age there is no reason this cannot be done with the click of a button to release a hold of 50$ which may not mean much to you but to me is a valuable thing I counted on having!

AustraliaWe were aware of the construction that would be occurring during our stay. What we were not aware of was that it would continue all day Saturday and Sunday. We were unlucky enough to have a room very close to where the renovation was going on. Apart from the constant noise, everything else was lovely. It's a great setup, and we loved the little lounge area that we found on our last day. We will definitely stay here again, when renovation works are completed.

SwedenThe continental breakfast at Ibis Styles Kingsgate Hotel was just okay. It did not include any warm food, and you had to pay extra for items like eggs and bacon. While the basic offerings were satisfactory, I don't recommend paying for the breakfast. You can find better options outside the hotel.
On a positive note, I really liked the hotel's location and the size of the rooms, which were both excellent.
