Being so central it was pretty noisy during the night from bars nearby. Breakfast was good, but very busy each day so ran out of options pretty quickly.

I left a “greener stay” hanger on my door every night, in order to collect 500 bonus points a night for not having my room made up but it kept getting ignored so I wasn’t sure if I was earning points or not. I had to speak to them 4 times before they assured me I would receive the bonus points and that they weren’t sure why housekeeping was disregarding the door hanger.

The facilities were clean and fresh and modern and in a great location. As a solo female traveller the extra safe locks on the doors were appreciated. Breakfast was always good (a little more variety in the cooked/hot options would be nice when staying for long stays, but really, that’s only if I was really picky. The food was tasty and a nice way to start the day and the staff were always polite.

Would have appreciated essential toiletries like disinfectant soap (not just cleansing items), toothbrush and toothpaste to be available at the room. Also not having complementary water bottles

The airconditioning made noise even when it was switched off. That's the only item we didn't like.

We liked everything, the beds were comfortable and you could select the pillow of your choice. We liked that you could make it completely dark. The shower gel and.shampoo smelled very good. The stuff was very friendly and supportive.

Limited storage in room for suitcases and bulky items. Access to adjoining carpark is clumsy and poorly planned. Breakfast was very good for the money, if a little limited in options.

Door for bathroom is same as door for shower - impossible to have a private shower - if you use the door for bathroom then shower water sprays everywhere. Gym is quite minimal - one bike, one elliptical, two treadmill, one bench and some free weights. Max 3 people in there. Laneway entry felt a bit dodgy late at night.

The black out blinds made it easy to sleep in! Modern and clean room. Lots of PowerPoints. Decent basic breakfast.

On booking I requested a coffee plunger so that I could have a coffee in bed (brought my own coffee) and was informed that my request would be fulfilled but on checking in was informed that because it was an ‘express hotel’ that it was not possible. 🥲Room on second floor noisy one night from disco below.

I think the breakfast could have had more choices - it was a bit scant on the offerings. Could have included eg. fruit and yoghurt, more hot food, salad options, different bread types fresh juices.

The room was lovely - stayed on level 4, corner suite. No noise from Hindley Street which was great. We came back to the hotel late after midnight and was surprised that the bar was open and that was pleasant.

The mattress was bumpy, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Also, only one pillow of four was allergy free. The shower & air conditioning vents were caked in dust.

Everything was very good overall for a four night business trip as well as being quiet. Breakfast area is welll designed with various seating options including for meetings & work. The lift was quick & even though the hotel seemed busy my experience was calm, quiet & like the name - express!

No room service. Security instead of a door man, we need both. Security only was a red flag. The fridge made a loud humming noise at night.

The room was clean and modern. Ladies avoid if traveling solo.
