We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThere was not much automatic information pre arrival. We had to contact the young guys at the island on the day to find out about which town house and about transfers. There is no wall between the bathroom and bedroom in the main bedroom suite. This made my wife a bit uncomfortable when we had to go to the tiolet. Needs a refresh.
Great outlook. Close to everything. Well set up for two couples. Bags pick up and storage till flight home was good. Comfortable bed. It was a lovely place for a week or long weekend.

AustraliaThe main bed was very comfy, but the foldout sofa bed was not so much. It was quite lumpy and hard and springs were missing, so it needs repairing or replacing. The main TV is quite outdated and were unable to get any streaming services, although we could get Netflix on the TV in the bedroom. Not many negatives at all, we really enjoyed the place and would definitely stay again.
Great location and the apartment was well-presented, sunny and welcoming. Plenty of space with generous sized rooms, bathroom, 2x large balconies with a gorgeous sea view. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything functioned well. Plenty of linen and cleaning supplies provided. Laundry facilities were excellent. Lovely and quiet, no noise could be heard from neighbouring apartments. We loved the little wildlife visitors!

United KingdomThe main ensuite shower room had a lot of black mould. The dishwasher did not work. We reported this and someone came to have a look and just left a card saying it was out of order. There were no instructions on how to operate any of the appliances. I suspect the integrated microwave did not work either. On checkout no one asked us if we had had a good stay and seemed completely disinterested when we advised them of the appliance issues.
The location was great and the view from the balcony was amazing. The use of the golf buggy was a brilliant extra as it meant we could see lots of the island.

Australiawasn’t clean enough - main bathroom bath was dirty VERY dirty .. cupboards in kitchen had oil splatters on and greasy to touch and look at, the high chair was also dirty with food all over other than this everything else was clean but the drains did smell in the kitchen and main bathroom. also the shower would over flow onto the drain in the tiles and flood .. my husband had to unblock it and found a knife down the drain?

Fully self contained 1 bedroom apartment. We were on the ground floor. Very clean and tidy apartment. Had all utensils to be able to cook most of our meals each day. Bathroom was very big and had all the shampoos etc (which I don't normally care about but i actually forgot to pack mine). We were just up the hill from the marina side so I little walk (or golf buggy) down to the restaurants or IGA.

AustraliaAs it rained a lot during our stay the accomodation needs some form of grip on the steps as my kids slipped several times and hurt themselves. The steps also need more light at night time. Apart from that we were very happy.

AustraliaThe hot water supply to the apartment wasn't good. It took ages to warm up and ran cold in 2 or 3 minutes requiring us to stagger our showers half an hour apart and to be unreasonably quick. Hamilton Island is a lovely destination but lacks sufficient restaurants and cafes for the number of people going there. Even without staff shortages there is not enough capacity or variety.
The location was great, the apartment clean and comfortable, and getting the keys to apartment and buggy very simple
