We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

View of the harbour is why I book this hotel but really everything is great. Used the pool for the first time this stay which was fabulous- will definitely use again. Love room service for dinner - the chowder was the best I’ve ever eaten.

AustraliaI would love to have free parking if staying in such a quality hotel, as I'm on a lower wage and single. I paid quite a bit for 4 nights, so be lovely to not have to pay another $20.00 a night for parking under the hotel Ive paid for. HOWEVER, a positive was they dropped it to $10.00 a night for me. Thank you so much. 🙂 Don't mind paying that much for my room if treated so well, like they did.
The hotel staff were the best I've encountered on my travels! The hotel itself I couldn't have asked for more. ✨️ On my birthday night, I joined a friend at Tasman Restaurant and hotel decided to put our 3 drinks on the house for the night. This topped off my holiday and made me feel very special! 🥳 THANKYOU Hotel Grand Chancellor, you exceeded my expectations on my first ever trip to Tassie! Breaky was the best also👌

Very smooth check in process, no mucking around at all. The hotel is in a perfect location for us to go walking to Salamanca, the wharf and the city centre, as well as a short drive to the summit of Mt Wellington. Good underground car park, staff were all lovely and the room was very comfortable. A really great experience that made our trip to Hobart so much better.
