View of the harbour is why I book this hotel but really everything is great. Used the pool for the first time this stay which was fabulous- will definitely use again. Love room service for dinner - the chowder was the best I’ve ever eaten.

There could have been a bit more variety and choice for breakfast. The indoor pool whilst it was heated was too cold and it could have been a couple of degrees warmer.

Only thing that is only a very small want, but not a deal breaker, but it would’ve been great to have a shower head that can be removed for ease of washing. But that’s not a real problem.

I would love to have free parking if staying in such a quality hotel, as I'm on a lower wage and single. I paid quite a bit for 4 nights, so be lovely to not have to pay another $20.00 a night for parking under the hotel Ive paid for. HOWEVER, a positive was they dropped it to $10.00 a night for me. Thank you so much. 🙂 Don't mind paying that much for my room if treated so well, like they did.

The hotel staff were the best I've encountered on my travels! The hotel itself I couldn't have asked for more. ✨️ On my birthday night, I joined a friend at Tasman Restaurant and hotel decided to put our 3 drinks on the house for the night. This topped off my holiday and made me feel very special! 🥳 THANKYOU Hotel Grand Chancellor, you exceeded my expectations on my first ever trip to Tassie! Breaky was the best also👌

Very smooth check in process, no mucking around at all. The hotel is in a perfect location for us to go walking to Salamanca, the wharf and the city centre, as well as a short drive to the summit of Mt Wellington. Good underground car park, staff were all lovely and the room was very comfortable. A really great experience that made our trip to Hobart so much better.

Nothing to complain about. Everything was pretty amazing.

We had a superior king harbour view room which had a wonderful view straight out over the harbour! The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern.

Very particular to me, but I always hope for fantastic water pressure and hot hot water at a hotel - the water pressure wasn’t amazing.

Great location, beautiful building. Especially liked the seating area by the lifts on our floor.

We lived everything about the Hotel Grand Chancellor. The room was very comfortable with excellent views over Hobart harbour and a very easy walk to most things. The food at Tasmans Restaurant was delicious with wonderful ambience.

The location was great and beautiful views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and lovely rooms. Especially like there was a pillow menu, thought that was a nice touch.

A great hotel, located in a terrific area, with many restaurants etc nearby. Our kids loved the swimming pool also.
