Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaShower pressure halved when turning to hot water and made a bad noise. Could hear outside noises. Breakfast buffet very underwhelming, a lack of international options, no signage about the services you could request (egg station, waffle/pancakes for example). When you pay high prices for these brand hotels your expectations are higher so they need to do better in these regards.
Very clean good location modern building. I love their cookies on check-in - this is a unique little treat they do well.

AustraliaReception staff were very slow with customers and long waits to get attention at reception. Also at night time the street outside gets very dangerous with drunk people and people on drugs at weekends so had to be street smart at night time on entering the hotel through Northbridge .

AustraliaOh my goodness! The location was ideal! Just a short walk from the Perth Cultural Centre, I headed straight to the hotel after day one of training before ducking out for dinner and drinks. Day two started with an amazing buffet breakfast before wandering back to the Cultural Centre.

AustraliaThe beds are impossibly hard! Asked to see if they could pad the mattress a little more, which they were happy to look into but it didn't really feel like it did anything. Disappointing considering everything else about the hotel is great, but a comfy bed is a must for me!
Great location in the heart of Northbridge. Lovely staff, modern room and a fantastic rain shower! The pool is small but lovely if you're not sharing with too many others.

AustraliaThe tv in our room kept cutting out so we couldn't watch TV. The room service breaky wasn't very good, the apple juice was warm, the food was cold and the cup of tea was horrible, we didn't end up eating it so that was a waste of $40.
