Beautiful little apartment with lovely views out across the river from the bedroom and loungeroom. There's a deck with outdoor seating which looks out over the gardens to the river, very peaceful. Our accommodation was very clean and comfortable, good heating, bed was comfortable, washing machine came in handy. Owners were very welcoming. Kitchen has limited cooking facilities, however there's a microwave, electric frypan and a two electric hotplates which are perfectly adequate should you wish to cook a basic meal. Great place to stay in the Huon Valley

Leanne and Don are great hosts, very friendly! Delicious home made bread for breakfast, and even packaged up some afternoon tea for us. The gardens are beautiful, and the house retains its timeless character.

It was perfect for an overnight stop. For a longer stay, we would choose a property further away from a main road, but the road is quiet and didn't disturb us at all.

The apartment is self-catering so breakfast was not part of the package, however Don and Leanne provided a range of cereals, fresh milk, ground coffee, teas, jam, and homemade cake (which we didn't get to eat as we were attending an event at Willie Smith's Apple Shed in Grove and only really spent a few hours at the property overnight, and forgot to take with us). Don and Leanne were really welcoming, and had put the heating on so that the apartment was lovely and warm for us on arrival and overnight. All beds had electric blankets but we didn't need them. Lovely spacious bathroom with bath as well as shower, and cosy sitting room with a range of books, board games and DVDs - ideal for a family or few friends sharing. Easy to find as just off the main road a few minutes south of Franklin (we recommend Frank's Cider Cafe with its museum and fascinating churchyard), about 10 minutes from Huonville.

Everything. The home has been beautifully restored/renovated and very tastefully decorated. The gardens were beautiful. The bed was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was terrific. Don & Leanne are great hosts - friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

There was nothing to fault

The 2 bedroom apartment was very comfortable and a large space, with everything we needed for our stay . The location was fantastic with water views and conveniently central to alot of the places we wanted to visit in the region. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Very handy to have a washing machine and clothes line aswell. The hosts were very friendly and even had some home made cake for us, which was delicious. 10/10 would definitely recommend and stay again.

There was nothing to dislike - it was all amazing.

Everything was fantastic. Our hosts were attentive, helpful, informative, caring and friendly without being intrusive. Breakfasts were great and cleanliness of the room and particularly the bathroom was above superb - everything was gleaming. The character property is lovely with beautiful gardens and grounds. Requests such as washing clothes were accommodated with ease. Amenities were wonderful. There were great toiletries, heating, sitting room and access to DVDs and books for relaxing times.

Driving back to the airport (which is only an hour away FYI)

Everything, this is quintessentially a classic B&B, with all the trimmings. Great hosts, really friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Bed was really comfy great shower pressure, and fantastic local produce round off a cracking breakfast. This is my 2nd visit, won't be the last.

Breakfast marvellous, home made raisin bread the best, beautiful fresh fruit and cereals. Was given muffins to take with us each day for M/T. Great hosts. Nothing was a problem for them. Just what we needed a great break away. Good location, so easy to get to and other places in the Huon.

The main road was a little close to our bedroom...the other rooms seemed further removed from the road.

The hosts were lovely. They were so welcoming and obliging. The banana bread as welcome was homemade and very moorish and the homemade breads for breakfast were also amazing. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of warm coverings plus a wall heater. Overall a lovely stay and we wish we had stayed longer.
