It’s by the main road, feels a bit like part of the motel next door. Didn’t get any instructions and no one there at check in which was a shame as everything else was great.

Facilities fantastic. Room was great and nice breakfast. Walking distance into Berry and quiet.

The only thing I could mention is the Matt under the bed . For most people this is not a problem but for my husband it was a trip hazard as he has mobility issues .

We love everything about the Homestead We have stayed there in the past and will continue to stay again . Staff are friendly and happy to assist. Breakfast is delivered to your cabin fresh eggs , cereal juice milk all delivered daily in a basket to prepare in your cabin You can help yourself and not rush out . Sit back and enjoy the beautiful countryside on your verandah. The Homestead rooms are large and the bathroom is spacious with lovely products .

No reception or greeting - but I think that's usual. An outdoor bath would be a treat as well. but it really was lovely. And its a lovely property with like a bar/eater on it but not being used. Would make a great location for a fine dining restaurant.

Food was great, location was amazing. Loved the view of the cows. The bed was comfy and the fire was cozy warm and lovely. The big windows were beautiful and so was the style of the house. We will stay again.

Nothing we didn't like, but might be useful to have a small dinner table inside for bad weather. There is some building work on the next plot, no noise, but maybe could be covered via trees being planted.

We have stayed in top hotels all over the world and this magical place was one of the best! The house itself was super quaint and cute, all looked brand new, there was wonderful small touches everywhere and this made the stay, they had thought of everything, from providing bath salts, a mobile speaker, charging cables as well as beach seats, towels and an umbrella! To having all plug sockets hidden away and a rack for the iron, small things but just made the place perfect. It also had beautiful scenery with a lake and fountain outside the room and the gardens were all newly planted, there was also a firepit and seats and an outdoor chess board. We also had a picnic one day by the lake as the sun was setting that side. This would also be a great place to stay with family to hire it all out for a bday or wedding as there is only 5 houses on site. Fresh milk, bread, eggs, butter, condiments were brought every morning as a bonus as well!

The little nice extras such as hot cocoa, the nice chocolate cookies, the bathsalts. Also plank over the bathtub made it so we could have a drink and some cheese while having a bath. And the place was super lovely, every little detail of it.

Lovely little cottage within walking distance to Berrys main street. Beautiful accommodation with a spacious bathroom, Loved the breakfast provided. Went for a walk around the grounds and thought it would make a lovely wedding venue. Would definitely visit again.

Traffic noise (especially trucks on weekdays) can get a bit loud.. The hedging plants in the porch for The Dairy needed pruning - it was blocking the gorgeous view to the lake and field. The power point in the bathroom drawer didn't work. Some rose petals and champagne (or similar in gesture) on arrival for our special occasion (anniversary) would've made it perfect, it was mentioned as a special request, but perhaps that's not a done thing anymore. All else was absolutely brilliant, will be back again and also recommend..! :)

The place was just absolutely wonderful. Very tranquil views and surrounds. The room was gorgeous and spacious. Bathroom was huge and having an evening bath while looking up into the starry skies was unforgettable. Very comfy bed, beautiful linen, gorgeous furnishings. Those barn doors were something else! Well thought out. The outdoor shower was brilliant! So lovely to have been able to have a picnic dinner outside watching the sun go down while sitting in the evening summer breeze after a relaxing day in town. On a clear night those starry skies against the jet black sky doesn't disappoint! The EV charger was very useful for us. We loved walking around the property each night, such a stunning location for special events! Friendly staff and responsive. Location to shops was ideal. The products used for the bathroom were top quality - they didn't skimp out on quality! B'fast ingredients provided were sufficient, and fresh every morning! The 2 sets of curtains were perfect - one to filter out most bugs and let fresh air in, and the other is blockout. Very stylish linen too. Tastily done. High arched ceilings are a very nice touch. Everything was prestinely clean.
