Waiting times for lunch and dinner were unexpectedly long. That said, the quality was as verything else in Capela: excellent.

Travelling a lot, have stayed in many hotels. My experience at the Capela was by far the most enjoyable and comortable hotel experience I ever had. We felt properly looked after from the moment we stepped into the lobby. Thank you very muh!

We are in the lighting industry and immediately noticed that some very talented people designed this hotel. There are not many places my husband goes to and he is absolutely happy with the lighting to this degree. Well done. The beds are beyond comfortable and we love the attention to detail. We stayed at this hotel twice and are looking forward to some longer stays to fully enjoy what's on offer. Oh and the spa is amazing, too. I am looking forward to some more treatments there :) The breakfast is absolutely delicious.

Being served in both the bar and their casual restaurant was slow. I felt forgotten - was a solo traveller. Breakfast service was opposite - highly attentive. Also is a shame the bar is closed Mondays & Tuesdays as that was 2 out of my 3 nights.

Loved the attention to detail, the design, the friendly staff and a great location. Awesome art pieces throughout the hotel. Oh and a fantastic breakfast.

We overslept breakfast and staff did not offer us any solution to have later breakfast, I would expect more help given the price range of this hotel.

Excellent location, walking distance to many attractions and ferry connections. Superb gym, pool and spa. Good variety at breakfast with something for everyone. A young staff at breakfast who certainly made you feel most welcome. Staff knowledgeable about local restaurants and helpful in securing reservations. Room exceptional with ample supplies of complimentary refreshments, toiletries and clean towels etc.

the beds were too soft for our taste (the proposed removal of the topper helped a lot). also, given its location in the CBD, the hotel restaurant and bar were very (too) quiet in the later evening and on weekends.

most things about this hotel are exceptional: the welcoming and friendly reception team, the seamless and impeccable housekeeping, the beautiful blend of old and new architecture, the spectacular lobby and pool area, the (quiet) luxury rooms and the central location. the breakfast felt like a special treat everyday, with high-quality buffet options and à la carte dishes. we would go back anytime!
