Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThe shower was a bit mouldy. A bit of bleach now and then couldnt hurt! Room was beside the kitchen which made it a bit noisy first thing in the morning..
Friendly helpful staff. We expected the room to be basic (which it was) but the bed was comfortable and everything works. We especially liked the location as we were seeing a show at the Tivoli. Cant get much closer! Onsite free parking is great.

AustraliaThe bed was somewhat basic and the supplied pillow was old and provided little to no decent support and comfort. I couldn't imagine myself staying here for more than a night.
The property is within a reasonable walking distance from Fortitude Valley railway station. The room I was in had more of a rustic feel than it did a tired one...sufficient amenities for the overnight stay I had.

Old building with lots of character and plenty of communal spaces to enable guests to mix. My room had small balcony amongst trees.

AustraliaNight we arrived 7/09/24, we arrived just before 8pm. I had put in booking notes that my friends and I were arriving from a different country and that we were paying in cash and going to arrive a bit later. Once we arrived we done the intercom and the staff who was on got mad at us because we hadn’t paid online and she had already counted her tills. We said sorry we did state that online when we made the booking, she gave us more attitude and then let us in. When we went to go pay, I asked her why she was being so rude over the intercom because we had stated that we were paying once we arrived, she starts yelling at me saying she’s not mad I’m the one who’s mad. (Whilst continuing to yell at me she’s not mad) anyway a lot more was said but she’s plain rude. Maybe get someone to work a night shift who isn’t lazy and gets mad at guest cause she can’t be bothered.
Location was great, bathrooms and toilets were always clean, the little young lady who was on Sunday morning and a few other mornings was amazing, super lovely and helpful

The staff were very professional and accommodating. The rooms, while rather dated, were quite recently professionally renovated and very large, private, and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay. I'll definitely recommend this impecebal family owned Brisbane Manor. I would definitely consider staying there again in the near future. Kind regards your esteemed guest.

AustraliaWe picked this hotel for wifi and parking as well as above. There was no parking on arrival and was told it was a first come first serve basis. We managed to park in a space the 2nd day. There was a cracked screen in the shower.
It was close to where we needed to be, the room was just what we needed for a family.

The location right next to the Ekka venue was amazing but the actual room and facilities are need of some basic maintenance. We were out the back basement room which was so badly painted and fixtures were poorly done it detracted from what could be a very pleasant space - for a little effort and not too much expense a better room feel is easily possible . The facilities - bed , linen , shower were basic but clean enough - although it’s a good idea for cleaners to move the furniture after each guest as we found a lot of lost makeup under the bed
