I don't understand why the gym doesn't open until 8am - there's just no good reason for it and many people like to or have to work out early in the morning. I had to wait until reception staff arrived some time around 7am and then ask them to open it, which made me feel like a nuisance. It's in the basement and there's no air conditioning so it is very hot in summer. The sauna would be a nice feature, but I didn't get to use it because you have to give an hour's notice and are not allowed to share it with any other guests. It's a shame that there is no breakfast offered on site; I didn't bother trying the breakfast bag. Would have been nice to have decaf coffee and teabags in the room. My bedside lamps didn't work; it turned out that the batteries had run out and needed to be charged with a cable that I had to obtain from reception. Reception staff seem to be frequently absent and there's no way to notify anyone that you're there; when I needed to pick up my luggage to get to the airport I waited around for 20 minutes until I got frustrated and had to go around the building to try to find someone to help me. Those are all relatively minor issues though.

Beautiful old building with high ceilings and quirky decoration. I had a huge sitting room as well as a good size bedroom. Relatively well equipped gym of a decent size. Friendly staff. Wifi and air conditioning worked fine in the room and I found the bed comfortable. Well located within walking distance of the Messe conference centre and two underground stations with connections to the city centre. Quiet and safe neighbourhood with supermarkets nearby. Great location for running along the river or in the Prater park. Staff were friendly and did their best to assist when asked. I would happily stay here again if I am travelling on business.

Really spacious rooms and very comfortable. The building is beautiful and the staff are lovely. It's a bit out of the city centre in a quiet area, but it's near transport and super quick to get into the centre of town.

Zola Hotel offers very spacious rooms, nicely decorated, comfortable bedding, all very nice. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so cannot judge. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Clean, modern and comfortable room. Nice staff, we had the return flight late in the evening but we’ve left our suitcase at the hotel so we were able to take another walk in the city during the day.

There is no reception during the night. I realized I lost my keycard when coming back at 3:30 am and had to contact someone to come with taxi and open me the door. I was feeling very bad about it.

Sound isolation is not the best, but it’s fine, cause my neighbours were quiet:) During my 1-night stay there was quite noisy outside, but it has nothing to do with a hotel.

The staff is super friendly and nice. Hotel building is really fancy, I liked it a lot. The room is big and beautiful. Everything is clean and modern. It is very customer-oriented. Definitely recommend!

The hotel has a lot of potential, but it is far from the center, and doesn’t have many facilities such as a restaurant for breakfast or drinks. It is expensive for what you get!

That there was no warm breakfast offered at all although they have a fantastic in-house restaurant Zazatam which was unfortunately only open for dinner. The only option was to order for an extra fee a "breakfast bag". The mattress was too soft (for me but others might think differently) so I did not sleep well although the bed and bedroom were beautiful. I was unable to regulate temperature in room as the device didn't respond when trying to adjust the temperature cooler and although it was March the room was a bit stuffy if you didn't open the windows. Although we were kindly granted a late check-out the next day (thank you!) the front desk somehow didn't share that information and was calling us the next day asking us when we were going to leave. Last, several days later the reception called me stating that I hadn't returned the room keys which of course I did when I checked out so there seems to be some communication problem there. To summarize if you're not to hung up on service, or the lack of it like breakfast, this is a beautiful appointed hotel in a historical building with beautiful suites for a very fair price!

I booked one of the suites and it really was a large and beautiful room well appointed with details and decor and exactly as shown in booking.com and from the hotel's own website. The price for a 55 sqm suite that I got on Booking.com which was cheaper than booking directly was a fair price considering the size of the room.

The building is astonishing, as well as the inside and the rooms. Felt like a king despite staying for only one night! Pretty quiet neighbourhood and close to the metro station! Exceptional staff as well!

Nothing that I didn't like!

Staff were helpful and friendly; the hotel and the room itself were beautiful - decorated well with lots of space and very clean. Although there were other quests staying we did not see or hear them throughout our stay. The hotel is a ~10mins walk to the metro and there are a few nice local restaurants. Mini bar prices are also very reasonable!

The location, a little further out from the city centre Neighbours got home late at night (4.15am) and we woke up to the door opener and walking around..But they soon quietened down so we didn't say anything.
