They put the smoking area directly next to the entrance. If you booked private rooms and the rooms in vicinity of the entrance you will have to have your windows shut. The smokers sit there chatting on and off through the night and our room stank if smoke. It would be better if they were relocated towards the street entrance. Reading the reviews we are not the only ones bothered by this. I would choose a different room, especially in the summer. It's a shame because we liked the place very much.

Location is good, beds are comfortable and the staff are fantastic. It is fun and engaging with Quiz Night and the Sound of Music playing every night. We would have given 10 out of 10 had we not suffered the cigarette smoke.

The kitchen is pretty basic, just microwave, kettle, and utensils. The male or female showers were on separate floors, so only a bit of an inconvenience if you were sleeping on the other floor.

Good location, not too far from supermarket and train station. Clean bathrooms as well.

Every night for 4 nights in a row when I returned to the hostel after exploring Province of Salzburg, I found my wardrobe door always open, even though I always locked it, because nothing was missing, I ignored it. I was really uncomfortable with this case.

Great location, near train station and city center, clean, the free coffee is very delicious.

The days I was staying in the hostel were rainy days. One day, I put my umbrella at the front door to dry my umbrella as the other people did when I came back after a city walk. But an hour later, I found my umbrella missing. When I asked the help from the staff at the counter who said that she allowed one guy to pick any one umbrella at the front door for use by keeping a five Euro as a deposit at the counter. She believed that the guy would return my umbrella after use. Unfortunately, my umbrella had never been returned to the counter until the next morning when I needed to check out. I was forced to pick out another umbrella as a replacment. I was so disappointed that the hostel staff allowed the guest to take away the property of the other guest.

The location was good because you walked to the Central Railway station within 10 minutes and could walk to the city center within short period of time.

It was peak summer, and my room was facing outside with a very small window and just one table fan. It was super hot and no much air with the whole dorm occupied.

Location was really good, near to Mirabellplatz. For the hop on hop off, it was very useful as that's the starting point. Spar and an Asian market nearby. Pretty good bistros/cafes as well. Friendly staff. I had taken a 6 bed female dorm, beds comfortable, good lockers (no additional lock/key required). The washroom was pretty big, clean with a nice shower room. Lounge area is pretty cool with daily movie screening of Sound of Music, which is charming. Guest kitchen has an oven, refrigerator, kettle, utensils, overall good. Plus the locker room is free :)

The hostel doesn't have cooking stove/ facility except two microwave. Kitchen space is not able to accommodate more than 5 people at a time. Dinning area is small too. However, they allow guests to sit and enjoy the meal in bar as well which is spacious. I recommend, they should install cooking stove/ oven. To cope with the business operations cost like utilities bills, If necessary the hostel management can charge guest €2~4 euro for each day for using cooking equipment or adjust the total accomodation pricing strategy accordingly.

Most of the tourist attractions are nearby the location. Easy access to public transportation i.e bus, tram. Staff are very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. I met two of them name Zoey and Sayed ; lovely people. I stayed in 6 bed mix dormitory. Room was spacious with big windows. Liked the mountains breeze in the nights.

- toilets not very clean - we had to pay an extra tax rate, even when I had already payed the full booking beforehand.

+ Friendly staff + you can leave you luggage even before you check in or after check out , nice for taking advantage of your day. + good locker system inside the bedroom (you lock-unlock with your own key room) + perfect location + you can drink tee or coffee for free

The breakfast didn't offer eggs, but that is a minor issue.

The staff, the ambiance, the area. The room was cleaned everyday and there was very little noise from other guests or from the street. The breakfast had a good variety of options.

Hair everywhere: hair in the showers, hair in the sinks, hair on the floors, hair on my supposed to be clean bed when i arrived. The staff is very rude. When I asked the bartender what is in the welcome drink he stated something like “well, can’t you read on it?”. Check out receptionist also seemed bored and hating her life and job. Also for some reason I paid double of what a room normaly costs( probably because it was the weekend and they were full so they decided to rip people in need off.)

I arrived and it was really hot, when I reached the room, the fan is not working. I went downstairs to ask and the 2 ladies at the reception laughed at me and spoke in their native tongue. I asked what’s the issue and the other girl said, it would be colder in the evening. I get it but that doesn’t mean you won’t attend to my request and just shrug-laugh it off.
