Inside the yard there is a very annoying lighting armature. At evening and night time light switch on many times it happens when something moving through the sensors. Please switch off! Bright light is disturbing my sleep time and rest.

Property has no air conditioning. Fans worked okay, but atmosphere was very humid due to unusual amount of rain. Minor issue with street noise since our window faced major pedestrian walkway. Also, road construction just outside so jack-hammering beginning 8:00 on several mornings.

I was under the impression the room had tea and coffee facilities but unfortunately was told this was only a welcome drink, I asked if we could have some more sachets but had to pay for coffee!

Room 15 was quite dark with windows opening onto a small light well which also gave very little air movement . The bathroom was tiny but functional. It would have been nice the have a comfortable chair to sit on.

The hotel was clean although a little basic. Location good for walking to most of the popular sights. Breakfasts good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No air conditioning, room felt a bit cramped (when have luggage) , very small lifts only fit two people comfortably we just got two of us and luggage in , our window in shower looked out to someone else’s window.

Not much. Obviously the rooms are small but putting a large chair in the room didn’t help; maybe go for a smaller desk chair

It was a very central, clean and comfortable hotel with all the amenities. We especially enjoyed the professional and friendly service offered by Heidi and Marie.

A pod coffee machine would be one thing we would suggest just to get the morning fixer upper but in saying this, there were plenty of coffee options close by, just not as early to open as we are to rise.

getting to the hotel was a little tricky on the day as the marathon was on so we had to cart our bags form the train station, which fortunately was not too far away and our return trip was a quick 15 minutes so no issues there so if you are light on with luggage, worth the walk to get your bearings from the "new" to the "old" town. We were greeted by a most warm welcome from the an extremely helpful and lovely Maree and as we were early, storage of our luggage was taken care of by her and we were off to see the sights of this gorgeous city. My wife said the greeting was the best we have had from any hotel, ever so a big well done.

A double bed with a large mattress instead of 2 single mattresses with a gap in the middle but most of hotel double beds in Austria are that way.

The location is perfect for a visit to the old part of Salzburg. The room was a good size. Andrea at the front desk in the evenings went way out her way to be friendly, and helpful. The best host by far.

It was warm, and there's no air conditioning at the hotel. The windows open; however, there were extensive roadworks taking place on Mozartplatz that started immediately outside the window at 7am. My main complaint is that we weren't warned of this before our arrival (would have changed hotels, perhaps why they didn'ttell us). When we enquired about moving rooms, the staff didn't help in any way. They didn't offer us to upgrade, even. I'd have paid more to move to the rear of the hotel if given the chance. That side of the experience was very poor.

The hotel is very well situated. It's in the old town, walking distance to everything and very close to the bus route to Untersberg. It was comfortable and very clean when we stayed. The staff were knowledgeable and gave great information on what to do around Salzburg.

Unfriendly staff! I booked two rooms for me and my family. Since I was holding a business meeting I asked the front desk to leave the room at 12:15. I was told it wasn’t a problem and there was no surcharge. However, the cleaning staff kept knocking on the door just after 11:00. The worst part is that they entered my family room moving bags and personal items to clean the room. One of the cleaning ladies was extremely unfriendly when I said that is not ok. At 12:10 I was at the front desk to check out and complain. Apparently a common thing because during my stay I witnessed several people making complaints and asking for compensation.

Central location and close to restaurants. It was easy to park in a near by garage.
